Shelgon (Japanese: コモルー Komoruu) is a Template:Type2 Pokémon. It evolves from Bagon and evolves into Salamence.
Biology
Physiology
Upon evolution from Bagon, bone structures are formed all around the Pokémon's body, only its legs and eyes are visible. Inside the structures, its body is busy forming for its next evolution.

Behavior
While awaiting evolution, it hardly eats anything.

Drake used a Shelgon in Vanity Affair. It defeated Pikachu.

Shelgon is a based on a dragon and a pupa.
Name origin
Shelgon's name is a combination of shell and dragon. Its Japanese name is a misspelling of 籠る komoru, to seclude oneself. It is worth noting that 龍 ryū, dragon, is part of the kanji for komoru.
