Mamoswine (Japanese: マンムー Manmoo) is a dual-type Ice/Ground Pokémon. It is the final form of Swinub.
Biology
Physiology
Mamoswine resembles a fully grown mammoth with a pig-like nose. The tusks are much larger than those of Piloswine and seem to be shifted downward. The tusks are made from solid ice instead of dentin like most teeth are. Mamoswine was much more common around the Ice Age but their numbers dwindled as the climate has grown warmer.
Gender differences
A female Mamoswine has shorter tusks than a male one.

Trivia
- Mamoswine would have been obtainable in both Generation II and Generation III if it had existed, as in both there was a possible way to get a Piloswine that had AncientPower. It shares this trait with Lickilicky.
- Mamoswine's Pokédex entry is a reference to how woolly mammoths became extinct.
- Not counting Psyduck, Golduck and Rayquaza who have a trait that negates weather effects, Mamoswine's evolutionary chain are the only Pokémon that are immune to both Sandstorm and Hail.
- Mamoswine's front sprites have gender differences, but its back sprites do not. The same happens with Roserade, and the opposite happens with Buizel, Floatzel, and Torchic.
- Mamoswine and its pre-evolution are the only pokémon immune to both Sandstorm and Hail.
Origin
Mamoswine appears to be based on a combination of a woolly mammoth and a boar.
Name origin
Mamoswine is a combination mammoth and swine.
Manmoo may be a combination of mammoth and ぶう ぶう bū bū, an onomatopoeia for oinking.
Its German name, Mamutel, comes from Mammut and Zottel. Its French name, Mammochon, comes from mammut and cochon.
