Hi! It would be very useful if you could figure out a way to have a page template (like <nowiki>{{bulba color}}</nowiki>) that is hosted on Bulbapedia to be used on Bulbanews without transferring it. Hey guys, it's FEBRUARY, the month of LUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUV. So why not show me some and let me keep this talk page until March. Or April. Or maybe, possibly, May?

Block

I was going a bit outta control on RexRacer's talk page, so can you please give me a 30 minute cool-down block? I need to cool down. 0° 03:02, 2 February 2009 (UTC)

Sure thing man. TTEchidna 03:08, 2 February 2009 (UTC)

...

Can you make this? Template:Movelist/body/special/2 It'd be real nice. Thanks! ht14 03:08, 2 February 2009 (UTC)

Done once more.--MisterE13 03:23, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
OKAY DEN! TTEchidna 03:26, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
By the way TTE, on the other archive, when I asked you to change the example here: it didn't come out clearly. There has to be a space and dash between "None" and "fieldmove".--MisterE13 03:32, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
...I don't understand why. That requires you to put the space in yourself... TTEchidna 03:34, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
Go to MAGNEDETH's talk page. Too lazy to overload your page. I need to figure out issue. ht14 04:19, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
*indiscriminate facebeating* TTEchidna 04:20, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
Thank you. ht14 04:21, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
It still shows: and |} on there... ht14 04:22, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
Web 3.0 had better supplant the need for these assloads of templates that only I can seem to figure out by the time I'm 30. TTEchidna 04:23, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
Or you could teach it to one of us... ht14 04:24, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
I learned by looking at the code that was left before me. And teaching over the internets is sorta hard. TTEchidna 04:25, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
Oh. You should suggest it to those who are actually good at it. ht14 04:26, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
You can get good at it. Just take a look at it. TTEchidna 04:38, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
Thanks. Eventually, I'll be able to be in charge (whoa!) and move on as well as help out. ht14 04:40, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
Threatening to take my job? B&. TTEchidna 05:40, 2 February 2009 (UTC)

A little late... but TTE, the thing I keep asking you to fix is at the bottom of the page. There is an example that shows people how to use the template. It needs to have a space and hyphen between the words "None" and "fieldmove"! Also, the instructions should also include such a note for all the moves without power levels.--MisterE13 21:56, 3 February 2009 (UTC)

You know what to do to it better than me. Fix it. TTEchidna 04:16, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
All done. That turned out complicated.--MisterE13 22:05, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

Jioruji Derako used Tackle on TTE's talkpage.

It's super-effective.

Oh, and you should look at this. Testing seems to work out fine. As a bonus, if you dig through the coding, you'll see a commented-out bit of coding that would allow for a small "target" variable. It's a little rough, which is why I'm not including it currently, but a possible idea for the future, if we decide to standardize that information in the infobox. -- Jïörüjï Ðērākō.>.cнаt^ 13:52, 2 February 2009 (UTC)

Okay. How's about the anime template I made up? TTEchidna 21:46, 2 February 2009 (UTC)

Colors

I don't know if I like it so much. Like why is it white where the Japanese title is? Are the colors going to be different for every saga? --ケンジガール 02:18, 3 February 2009 (UTC)

Why is it white where the Japanese title is? I figured that separating it would be fine. And yes, they will be. On my subpage at EpInfo. TTEchidna 02:20, 3 February 2009 (UTC)

Movie Template

How are we suppose to add home video dates to the new movie template? --HoennMaster 16:41, 3 February 2009 (UTC)

Uhhhmmmm... In the... way with the variables that I didn't pass through before but which are passed now so go include them. TTEchidna 19:00, 3 February 2009 (UTC)

Administrator Status

In order to keep our Administrator list currently up-to-date, this is a generic "are you there" message.

You've been assumed as currently alive (by technical standards) and are already marked as such, but if you disagree with this, either edit the List of administrators to reflect your status (Dead, Alive, or Something Like Schrodinger's Cat), or reply here when you get the chance. -- Jïörüjï Ðērākō.>.cнаt^ 16:14, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

Oh I totally disagree. Because I'm totally never here. TTEchidna 22:26, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
But if you're not here, then obviously you didn't leave the above comment. I'll have to wait two weeks for the real TTE to speak up. -- Jïörüjï Ðērākō.>.cнаt^ 22:46, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
Whenever he shows up to archive his talk page that gets used as the community messageboard... TTEchidna 22:47, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
...I certainly don't know anything about a "community messageboard". And I certainly haven't contributed to what you speak of. -- Jïörüjï Ðērākō.>.cнаt^ 22:51, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
If you say so. TTEchidna 22:52, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

This is LOL. --ニョロトノ666 00:23, 20 February 2009 (UTC)

<noinclude>

What does it do and where should one use it?--MisterE13 22:09, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

One should use it on a template when they don't want a specific part of the template to appear elsewhere (This is hard to explain) For example, if I put <noinclude>EXPLODE</noinclude> on a template, and one put it somewhere else, "EXPLODE" would not show up.--freezingCOLD (page, talk) 22:12, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
It's just as if you were restricting it to one place. 1337Fire ►strike! 22:14, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
It's for categories and stuff that should only appear on the template's page. The opposite is <includeonly>, which causes stuff inside to appear only on pages that the template is included in. TTEchidna 22:25, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
So like if you wanted to show an example for how to use the template on it's page but obviously not wanting it to appear when the template is used.--MisterE13 03:12, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
Exactly. TTEchidna 03:43, 5 February 2009 (UTC)

Galm's comment

Im sorry for taking a style from a different site, i will delete it as soon as i can. can the item picture before the item's name still go on?- unsigned comment from Galm (talkcontribs)

It's already been deleted, though. As for the item pictures... those were kind of... eh. We're gonna be restandardizing them soon anyway, and don't forget that some items don't have bag sprites. And sign next time! And don't upload sprites as jpgs. TTEchidna 22:21, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
Yo dude when is my abuse period over, i didnt even know how it got there. Galm 21:03, 8 February 2009 (UTC)

"=" template

Jio explained the principals of why it would be important and since we already have "!" (for "|") I thought it could be both useful and doable. I'd make it myself but I'd rather have someone else decide what to name it.--MisterE13 23:06, 6 February 2009 (UTC)

Just name it... =... TTEchidna 23:08, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
Except that uses the symbol which defeats the purpose of having one because in calling the template, you have to type "=". It would have to be something like "Template:--" (for the two lines) right?--MisterE13 00:11, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
I think having the curlybrackets prevents the template from thinking the "=" as a real thing. The ! is different because we can't have Template:| apparently. - unsigned comment from Sol (talkcontribs) 00:14, 7 February 2009
I'm confused. What's the template supposed to call anyway? TTEchidna 00:19, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
The template calls an "=" because apparently one cannot use that in a Switch expression thus using it in the name would be pointless.--MisterE13 00:33, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
I'm pretty sure that {{=}} ought to work fine. It's the name of the template, not a field, so it shouldn't confuse the equal sign for anything. --((Marton imos)) 00:36, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
There, see? Typing in {{template|=}} didn't work as a link to the template page, but {{template|{{=}}}} gets us {{=}}. Equals signs act screwy in template fields, but this template gets them working fine. --((Marton imos)) 00:39, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
Aslkdsn how could I forget to sign. Kinda ironic though, that you have to use the template to link to itself. XD ~ sol 00:43, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, I know. When I tried it the way you would any other template and it didn't work, I thougth maybe E13 was right after all. But then I realized that it was because of the reason we were coming up with the template in the first place, so I got a cool chance to demonstrate its functionality completely on accident. --((Marton imos)) 00:48, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
Ah, so that's what you wanted... As long as it has a use. TTEchidna 02:44, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

Help when you get a chance

List of Japanese voice actors

Can you make it so those three tables are the same size? Thanks ~♥ --ケンジガール 05:10, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

Just put in the table opening "width: (size)". TTEchidna 05:14, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
Thank you. Oh and Jmath wants the Animecharacters template unprotected for some reason. --ケンジガール 05:31, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
Eh. Tell him to wait until August. TTEchidna 05:33, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

Hope you don't mind...

...{{EventAvail/h}} and {{EventAvail}}. See Shaymin for example. *tc26* 09:37, 8 February 2009 (UTC)

Heh? How're they used? TTEchidna 09:53, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
It lists in what events they're available in basically. *tc26* 11:43, 8 February 2009 (UTC)

Username

I need a new username. I don't like mine anymore. I want to be renamed "Mamoswine Gliscor". Can you do this? --Juan Sanfiel 8 February 2009 15:33:46 (UTC)

You need to give a legitamate reason for the username change other than I dont like it *DCM((Mock MeEdits)) 15:41, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
How about, it gives out my real name and I am a bit foolish of what I did. I don't like that to happen.--Juan Sanfiel 8 February 2009 16:55:00 (UTC)
Thats a great reason. GIVE HIM NAME CHANGEDCM((Mock MeEdits)) 17:00, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
I agree... most people won't remember that it's you unless you re-direct your old name to the new one. Just a thought Pyles 22:19, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
I am still waiting. Since 10:33 am I was! Juan Sanfiel - Blah, Blah, Blah 00:00, 9 February 2009 (UTC) (or Mamoswine Gliscor)
I guess TTE is not on the computer... hope you can get it changed soonPyles 00:14, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
Jeez, guys, I'm not a freaking robot. I have a life too, ya know. Anyway, being namefagged by yourself is no good idea. So you're sure about Mamoswine Gliscor? TTEchidna 00:33, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
Positive Juan Sanfiel - Blah, Blah, Blah 00:35, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
Okay then. Gimme a minute to work. TTEchidna 00:38, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

Why didn't you just get Bulbabot to do it? oh, wait he was beaten with a shovel by DCM :P Pyles 00:52, 9 February 2009 (UTC) P. S. I'm sorry but I don't really get the Bulbabot idea anyway

Botty doesn't do renaming. Too complex for him. He just adds interwiki links. TTEchidna 00:54, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
I get it. He is you, right? Pyles 00:57, 9 February 2009 (UTC) I'm sorry, I'm too stupid
Botty's just programming which I can log in as to screw with people. TTEchidna 00:58, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
While we are on the topic, can't we add an auto-welcome function?--Mew a.k.a. Prmatt11 at 00:59, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
We could but eh, it seems kinda impersonal if it's automatic. TTEchidna 01:03, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, I felt really welcomed when it was from another user. This was by the way a short while ago. If it was automatic, then the new user wouldn't know anybody. I happened to have PhoenixGraphix as a real-life friend so it wouldn't matter to me Pyles 01:54, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
Do we need a welcome to be Heartfelt? WE already use a bland, automatic welcome, so i doubt it will scar people to much if it comes from a robot. And how did you know about the shovel!!DCM((Mock MeEdits)) 02:18, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

I saw the shovel a while ago, but I still remember DCMPyles 17:13, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

EpicodePrevNext color schemes

I've went ahead and added two more color schemes available. These schemes were added while I was converting the PrevNexts on the Pokémon Special rounds. The two new schemes are Yellow (used in Yellow chapter rounds such as PS041) and FRLG (used in FireRed/LeafGreen chapter rounds such as PS268). If you can think of better colors for those schemes, go ahead and tweak them. --Shiningpikablu252 18:34, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

Ack, I was actually intending for there to be a SpecialPrevNext. Ah well. TTEchidna 21:48, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

Additions to the edit buttons

I don't know if it's possible, but I think it would be beneficial to add a couple of buttons to the top of the edit window. Perhaps: "{{}}" (for templates) and "{{|}}" (for link templates) hope this helps and is doable.--MisterE13 23:11, 10 February 2009 (UTC)

It might be, but that'd be getting into the css rather than anything else. TTEchidna 23:20, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
Speaking of templates, do you think this is a good idea? I think I got every sensible combination possible, and if there has to be more people can use multiple templates. There's a demonstration on the page's talk page. ~ sol 23:40, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
Good, but I'd wonder where it could be added where it's not already hardcoded... TTEchidna 04:42, 11 February 2009 (UTC)
Hmm... Guess you're right. I'll leave it for now, though, in case it might be used later. ~ overgrownsol 23:08, 11 February 2009 (UTC)

They're done!

I got some help from Jioruji Derako and the Unown Trozei and Gen II templates are all done! The best part is that they're both self contained so no special codes to put when they're implemented to the side games/sprite templates (They already display exceptions for ! and ?). Template:Side game/Trozeiyes/26formes
Template:Sprite/2/26formes

There are still several other templates I had made that have not been implemented yet so if you have the time/the inclination and need a refresher on what they all are, I'd be glad to help.--MisterE13 01:59, 11 February 2009 (UTC)

Yes please. TTEchidna 04:43, 11 February 2009 (UTC)

As well as the aforementionned

MisterE13 16:08, 11 February 2009 (UTC)

Oy. Side games... TTEchidna 23:10, 11 February 2009 (UTC)
Implementing them all would be fairly simple I should think, they work exactly like the other sprite templates do except you have to implement them here: Template:Side game--MisterE13 01:21, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, though the sprite template's no walk in the park to screw around with. TTEchidna 01:56, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
Wow, now that I understand the code, it seems even more complicated. Still, it should be a copy/paste ordeal. If it helps, none of the Unown ones use variables for the forms.--MisterE13 02:38, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
That's a relief... TTEchidna 02:38, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
Ya know, I could probably do them myself if you unprotected them. Or maybe in my sandbox.--MisterE13 22:09, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
Noooo... the sprite template is VERY fragile... I can hardly edit it sometimes... TTEchidna 23:23, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, I just tried in my sandbox. It is fragile.--MisterE13 01:29, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
I'll get to it as soon as the Overgrow upgrades begin. TTEchidna 01:49, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
Are there any more such updates? I'd be glad to help.--MisterE13 22:53, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
They're coming down the pipes. TTEchidna 02:01, 15 February 2009 (UTC)
So the Overgrow upgrades have begun. (*Points a few points up*)--MisterE13 03:02, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
Indeed they have. I'll be on it soonish. TTEchidna 03:56, 18 February 2009 (UTC)

Anime

Which user here (In your opinion) knows the most about the anime? I had a question, which I will post here so someone else could answer.

When was the first episode with a gen 4 pokemon in it aired in Japan?

Name change

Just asking, but could I get my username changed? I would like it to be "J-J-M" without the quotes. Jmath 20:38, 13 February 2009 (UTC)

You need to give him a reason, I think. 0° 20:40, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
"JMath" is the name of a freaking CAS (Computer Algebra System) which I had no idea until now. Jmath 20:49, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
...so? What's wrong with that? TTEchidna 23:41, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
It just isn't original, that's all. Jmath 20:58, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
There's more than one person whose online name can be shortened to TTEchidna. TTEchidna 04:57, 15 February 2009 (UTC)
Oh c'mon, TTE, just this once? After all the time I've been on the 'pedia, it's the first time I'm making a request like this to anyone. I probably won't ask for a name change again for a long time. Jmath 23:17, 15 February 2009 (UTC)
Well, if you're really sure you want one... I can't deny you. I just... think it's not that good of a reason. So are you absolutely sure? TTEchidna 23:18, 15 February 2009 (UTC)
I am. And thanks. Jmath 23:25, 15 February 2009 (UTC)

Just a quick question...

As an admin on Bulbanews and a staffie on the forums, should I be something on the 'pedia?--Mew a.k.a. Prmatt11 at 14:56, 15 February 2009 (UTC)

Sorry for butting in, but probably not. You were only made admin on the news because of vandalism, and Politoed666 has been trying to stop users for getting admin status for that reason, (so technically, you kind of shouldn't have been made one in the first place) and we have too many administrators on the pedia now anyway. MaverickNate 17:23, 15 February 2009 (UTC)
Completely understood. Just pay close attention to your talk pages, admins! I'm here almost 24/7! I'll report thy vandals, and killith thou evilness!--Mew a.k.a. Prmatt11 at 14:33, 16 February 2009 (UTC)

How...

TTE, you know a lot about this site. How can you customize your signature?Alec9 20:16, 15 February 2009 (UTC)

My preferences. Signature. Make sure to turn raw signatures on. Then it's whatever wikicode that doesn't include linebreaks. So no templates. TTEchidna 22:19, 15 February 2009 (UTC)

Template updates

Here. Comments? Suggestions? ~ overgrownsol 22:28, 15 February 2009 (UTC)

Nothing important

Just look at your last edit:

  • (diff) (hist) . . Talk:Ditto (Pokémon)‎; 04:36 . . (+493) . . TTEchidna (Talk | contribs | block) (→Title: )

You added 493 characters in your comment. The same number as the amount of Pokémon in the dex, ;) --ケンジガール 11:41, 16 February 2009 (UTC)

Might I add that it's the same number of creatures that Ditto is (because of Transform)? ←{Berrymaster|Talk|Contrib}→ 01:39, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
Actually, Ditto can be any of the 28 Unown, adding 27, both formes of Shaymin and Giratina, adding two, all four of Deoxys, adding three, the other Wormadam and Burmy, adding four, the other Shellos and Gastrodon, adding two. So all in all that's... 527. TTEchidna 03:55, 18 February 2009 (UTC)

Manaphy steps to hatch

I know the egg has been out for a reeeeeeeeeeeaaly long time, but should we add that the longer the egg is in Ranger, the shorter it will take to hatch?(P.S. I'm a new user but a long time lurker!)Leafstorm151 23:05, 16 February 2009 (UTC)

Does it?--RexRacer -talk 23:10, 16 February 2009 (UTC)

Yes, it does(I tried it).

Sorry I forgot to sign my commentLeafstorm151 01:34, 17 February 2009 (UTC)

Proof of this? TTEchidna 03:52, 18 February 2009 (UTC)

Ugh.

I uploaded the file for the Great Encounters set image, as you can see on the Archives, but it doesn't work with the TCG expansion template because of the .gif extension. Can you fix that? Thanks. BTW, do you like the expansion prev/next? --ニョロトノ666 03:14, 17 February 2009 (UTC)

...why is it a gif. Make it not be a gif. TTEchidna 04:28, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
And how am I to do that? --ニョロトノ666 02:59, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
...you have to have GIMP. C'mon. TTEchidna 03:36, 18 February 2009 (UTC)

Platinum

TTE, I don't know how to make a new template for the platinum theme decks for the TCG. I was just wondering if you knew how to make a new one and correct it. --Pokemaster11

...take the current template code. Fool around with it. Ta dah. TTEchidna 00:53, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

Hey, Remember Me?

Hey TTE! Remember me? I'm not doing much these days (besides school), so I've decided to come back to the site! Template:AvailabilityGlitch2

There's something wrong with this template. Yesterday, I added a noincluded category to get it out of the uncategorized templates; however, today I went into the uncategorized templates and saw it was still there. I don't know what piece of coding is causing this. Is it possible for you to find what's wrong and get the template out of uncategorized? Thanks. --Shiningpikablu252 16:58, 18 February 2009 (UTC)

It's categorized now. for some reason the category would not work being on the same line as the table code. - Kogoro | Talk to me - 17:02, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
That's because someone didn't close the table when making it. TTEchidna 00:49, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

Something new!

In my latest attempt to demonstrate polyformality, I've done some tinkering to Template:Moveentrytm: User:MisterE13/template:Moveentrytm. Feel free to play around with the variables but I'm 99% sure it works. Rotom might stretch tables a bit too much but hey, Rotom stretches a lot of tables. I can fix the other Moveentry templates later if this is approved. (BTW, it's so we don't get things like all 4 Deoxys in the same table with the same level learned or the always annoying 2 seperate Shellos). Unfortunately, some of the things are hard-coded to show the Normal form if you put in the number. Also, Rotom's forms do not seem to be coded in at all which could be unhelpful for showing moves learnt by one of them.--MisterE13 02:13, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

Well, how's it work with those? TTEchidna 03:44, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
Currently, most pages have it like the breeding section of Mirror Coat (Please note the fact that we have both East and West Shellos in seperate boxes. Deoxys does it too.--MisterE13 23:39, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
Wait wait wait wait, this is already implemented? TTEchidna 00:22, 20 February 2009 (UTC)
No, it currently displays two seperate boxes one on top of the other for all the formes (generally of Deoxys, Wormadam, Shellos and Gastrodon) I'm proposing to show all the minisprites in the box.--MisterE13 02:46, 20 February 2009 (UTC)
Well, like I said, okay, but show it off beforehand on a test page or something. TTEchidna 03:03, 20 February 2009 (UTC)

D'ya think

You can figure out why {{Mini}} messes up the sidebar on all the pages it's included in?--freezingCOLD (page, talk) 23:24, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

Because someone forgot to close a div tag. When in doubt, someone forgot to close something. TTEchidna 23:28, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
But Bulbalogo still levitating.--freezingCOLD (page, talk) 23:28, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
...levitating? I see nothing different on my end. TTEchidna 23:30, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
On the pages the template's included on.--freezingCOLD (page, talk) 23:32, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
Now here's the thing, I can't see why it's doing that, but I still blame the divs, which are goddamned overused in these things. TTEchidna 23:34, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
ok...Sol got it.--freezingCOLD (page, talk) 23:36, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
Like I said. Too many damned divs. TTEchidna 23:37, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
Actually, I just forgot to put another |} at the bottom. ~ overgrownsol 23:41, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
That also could cause a prablem. Did with the glitch availability things. TTEchidna 23:44, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

KB

How do you know how many KBs a talk page takes up? YinYang 00:37, 20 February 2009 (UTC)

Uh. Depends on how much crap there is on it. Check the history tab. It tells you how many KB are in each revision. TTEchidna 00:46, 20 February 2009 (UTC)
Are you using IE? I'm on FireFox. YinYang 01:00, 20 February 2009 (UTC)
...I'm one of the greatest proponents of forcing everyone into Firefox. It's at the freaking top of the page. It says how many bytes there are with each revision, divide by 1024 and you have KB. Me, I have 9 KB right here. TTEchidna 01:03, 20 February 2009 (UTC)
Ooohhh that's what you meant!! I was looking at something else! Thanks!!! YinYang 01:16, 20 February 2009 (UTC)
Yeah. TTEchidna 01:32, 20 February 2009 (UTC)

Anyways...

Sorry I didn't get to reply up there↑↑↑(the manaphy steps)since I don't know how to reply to things after a new heading. Well to answer your question, TTE, I tested it and it took way fewer than 2805 steps. Leafstorm151 01:57, 20 February 2009 (UTC)

Award Scheme

Heya TTE. I'm now the Project Leader of Locations and I was wondering if I can put an award scheme/system on to encourage users to edit more location articles. It will be just like the Golden Bulbasaur Award, where every month a user, who is doing the best contributions, will relieve an award like the Golden Bulbasaur Award. But instead, the award can be kept on the project page, and it will be given out by me. Think it's a good idea?--Clarky13 13:59, 20 February 2009 (UTC)

I'm gonna say... eh. Not really. Locations is where I started though, so maybe I could help. And yes it is 6 AM here. TTEchidna 12:25, 22 February 2009 (UTC)
Yes, please do. I need something to brighten up these articles. lol 6AM, Its almost midnight here.--Clarky13 12:33, 22 February 2009 (UTC)

Permission to insert false information?

Theryguy512 said you basically gave him permission to insert false information onto Mankey, basically allowing the redirect to be converted to a disambig that lists that Ash caught a Mankey in EP029 before it evolved into Primeape. Anyone with half a brain knows that the Mankey evolved and THEN Ash caught the Pokémon, hence saying Mankey was a Pokémon that belonged to Ash before evolving is false information. (A Mankey that Ash did catch in the Electric Tale of Pikachu manga is unrelated to the Mankey in question, and is not notable for its own article because it was quickly traded away for a bogus map.)

This wave of false information even spread onto Spearow. Ash caught his Electric Tale Fearow directly as a Fearow, yet a recently-converted disambig implies that he caught it as a Spearow and then it evolved into a Fearow. The truth is that Ash has never caught a Spearow in any canon, yet the disambig lists Ash's Fearow evolving in a similar path as a Pokémon Ash tried to catch in the anime but failed.

I don't see why someone would think you'd willingly give them permission to insert false information onto Pokémon redirects...--Shiningpikablu252 16:21, 20 February 2009 (UTC)

actually, i told him he could, however, i didnt think he meant a Mankey disambig, i thought he meant a redirect of Ash's Mankey, which i didnt know already existed. it was a mis-understanding. -- MAGNEDETH 20:36, 20 February 2009 (UTC)

A little confused on our policies...

I thought the rules were that we aren't supposed to move pages to English names until the episode airs. Isn't it to avoid Ada/Audrey Solidad/Samantha instances? So what makes Yuri/Lila different? Did we change the rules? --ケンジガール 03:09, 21 February 2009 (UTC)

Beats me. I was told it needed moving. TTEchidna 03:12, 21 February 2009 (UTC)
By whom? Just for the record, J-J-M did some attempted gun-jumping earlier based entirely on the online preview listing, which was NOT an airing last I checked. --Shiningpikablu252 03:18, 21 February 2009 (UTC)
Bulba AIM chats like we usually have. TTEchidna 03:19, 21 February 2009 (UTC)
I'm guessing it was RexRacer as it was him who approached me. It's best to review what you are moving first. It was protected from moving for a reason. Gun jumpers. We all know very well that Pokemon.com has been wrong before and an announcement does not mean a confirmation. That's why these pages get protected days before the broadcast. --ケンジガール 03:25, 21 February 2009 (UTC)

Thank Mimey you're here!

Can you please talk some sense into Pelipper Rocks??? If you look at his talk page, you'll see what the problem is. Thanks. --Theryguy512 00:27, 22 February 2009 (UTC)

Sssssssnnnnnngh. Fly is a very debatable case. Really, all of the HMs are. TTEchidna 01:19, 22 February 2009 (UTC)

Templates on other Bulbawiki projects

Hi! It would be very useful if you could figure out a way to have a page template (like {{bulba color}}) that is hosted on Bulbapedia to be used on Bulbanews without transferring it. Can you think of a way around this?--Mew a.k.a. Prmatt11 at 14:27, 22 February 2009 (UTC)
