Dark Void (Japanese: ダークホール Dark Hole) is a non-damaging Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation IV. It is Darkrai's signature move.

Effect

The foe is put to sleep. In a double battle, Dark Void will hit both foes, and the accuracy of said move is dependent upon the Pokémon that is targeted.

In Pokémon Battle Revolution, if the Sleep clause is active in a double battle, if Dark Void hits one foe, it will be forced to miss the other.

In the anime

Pokémon

  • Darkrai. Darkrai gathers a ball of crimson red and black energy between its hands, and raises it into the air. Several smaller balls of violet and black energy shoot from it, engulfing the target upon contact and causing sleep. Bad Dreams promptly takes effect.
