Reckless (Japanese: すてみ Life-Risking) is a Pokémon ability introduced in Generation IV. Only one Pokémon has this ability.
Effect
In battle
Reckless increases the base power of moves which cause recoil or crash damage.
Outside of battle
Reckless has no effect outside of battle.

Reckless doubles the base power of any move which is affected. The ability affects the following moves:
- Submission
- Double-Edge
- Take Down
- Jump Kick
- Hi Jump Kick
- Volt Tackle
- Wood Hammer
- Flare Blitz
- Brave Bird
- Head Smash
