Night in the Haunted Tower by Tracey West (ISBN 0-439-13742-X) is the fourth book of the Pokémon series based on the popular TV show. This book was published by Scholastic in October 1999. It is set between Attack of the Prehistoric Pokémon and Team Rocket Blasts Off!.

Synopsis

This book follows the plots of Abra and the Psychic Showdown, The Tower of Terror, and Haunter versus Kadabra.

Ash has to defeat the Gym Leader Sabrina to earn a Marsh Badge. But only Ghost Pokémon are strong enough to beat her powerful Psychic Pokémon in battle. Now Ash and Pikachu have to spend a haunting night in Pokémon Tower to catch a spooky specter.

It won't be easy. Ghost Pokémon are tricky. But Ash isn't afraid of any ghosts. Nothing can stop him from becoming a Pokémon Master!
