Megayanma (Japanese: メガヤンマ Megayanma) is a Bug/Flying-type Pokémon.
Biology
Physiology
Megayanma is large, dark-green dragonfly. Each of Megayanma's have a red spot on it while the last segment has a black thorn on it. Megayanma has two black triangular plates on the back of its thorax and another plate on its head. Megayanma has red and white wings. Megayanma's eyes are red with a "Y" shape in each one.

Megayanma are hard to come across, but they can be found in forests.

It is, as its name suggested, based on Meganeura monyi species of dragonflies.
Name origin
Megayanma's name is a combination of 蜻蜓 yanma, large dragonfly in Japanese, and Meganeura, a species of gigantic prehistoric dragonfly.
