Basic Pokémon Info

I have been a fan of Pokémon for quite a while. The first Pokémon game I ever played was Pokémon Yellow, though the first one I ever owned was Silver Version. After playing a bit through Silver, I did not play Pokémon much until 2005, when I got Sapphire Version. I actually beat it twice, but then restarted my game. In 2007, I got Diamond Version the day it was released, and, about a year later, I got Pearl. And, of course, I got Platinum the day it was released, and I am quite addicted to it, now.

Favorite Characters

Favorites

• Thorton

Once I took a look at this guy, I loved him instantly. I seem to have some kind of thing for snobbish looking characters, so... yeah. XD Also, without a doubt, he's my second favorite character of all time. I even cosplayed him at Sakura-Con 09.

• Mira

I don't know why, but she scares me... a lot. XD

• Darach

My second favorite Brain. I just find him awesome, especially in the manga.

Others I Like

Her... HAIR. IT'S MADNESS. XD

• Argenta

She is a very unique age for a Pokémon character.

• Caitlin

I'm clearly biased to the Sinnoh Brains. XD But I find her funny, and the manga got me to like her.

My favorite Pokémon is Gallade, though there are a lot of other Pokemon that I am fond of, such as:

Pokémon that I Dislike

Most people have at least one or two Pokémon that they don't like. Here are a few I am not too fond of.

• Medicham, I'm sorry... but I hate this thing with a passion. I think it's the ugliest thing they could have possibly designed. Gallade will always be the REAL psycho fighter.

• Lucario, the most ridiculously OVERHYPED, OVERUSED, and OVERRATED MUTT ever.

• Glaceon/Vaporeon/Espeon/Eevee, they're all one of the kinds of Pokémon I dislike; beautiful, sleek, elegant, cutesie, etc., and are topped off with being overly popular. I don't really mind the other four, though.

• Electivire, guh... this stupid yeti is not only ugly, but it leaves Magmortar, it's counterpart and one of my favorite Pokémon, in the dust.

• Grovyle, just plain' boring and overrated. What is Sceptile? Chop liver?

• Articuno, urgh... that stupid bird... once, I was chaining Nidoran♂ on my Platinum, and a shiny patch came up, but... as I was heading to the patch, a certain PESKY Articuno came up and broke my chain before a could get to the patch, and ever since then, I have hated Articuno and have given it the title "Ultima Pain-in-the-Butt Chain Breaker". Also, I hate graceful/sleek Pokémon.

• Gardevoir, this thing is hyped, overly feminine, and weak as crap. Enough said. Gallade forever and ever.

I do not mean to offend you with any of the above comments. I do not want to hurt anyone's feelings.

Shiny Encounters

Silver

My first ever shiny encounter. This was before I knew about shinies, so I wondered why that Ditto was blue. I beat it by mistake. I later found out about shinies, and kind of exploded. After that, I did not find any other shinies in Silver.

Sapphire

This was an unfortunate encounter, because all of the Pokémon I had at the time were too high in level to fight it, so I could not catch it.

I actually encountered it when I was searching for an Absol to migrate up to my Diamond. When I encountered it, I forgot about Absol. This was the first shiny I ever caught successfully. It is currently my HM Slave on Diamond.

Got him through soft resetting, and he didn't actually take me that long to get either. Only around 70 soft resets. It's something about the Hoenn starters... I have good luck with them.

Uncatchable one that came up while I was soft resetting for a shiny Mudkip. :U

♂ (Second)

And believe it or not, ANOTHER one came up several weeks later. Mudkip hates me. :U

Diamond

Even though I have one traded from a friend, once, I did encounter one afterwords. However, I failed to catch it.

I had the same problem with this one as Lunatone.

Guh... it broke my Snover chain. Currently a Medicham (sadly) on Platinum.

A very lucky encounter, appearing at the amazingly low chain of 1. Currently a Froslass on Platinum. God, I miss shiny Snorunt, shiny Froslass is crap.

Caught on the same day as shiny Snorunt. I male would have been cooler, though. I really wish I could use Cute Charm and Synchronize at the same time.

Platinum

I wound up chaining Magnemite, and came across a shiny one. I beat it by mistake. (Darn you, habits!)

This one was extreamly unfortunate. I came across this one at a chain of only three Kirlias, and... I got so excited, that my finger slipped, and touched the wrong attack on the touch screen... and I killed it. X(

(2nd time) ♂

Okay, after a few tries and a break, I managed to find another, and actually caught it.

Guh... I had no Quick Balls or Nest Balls, so I used False Swipe on it... and, of course, it Teleported away from me. XPP

This one was pretty easy to chain, since it was a swarm. I don't care much for Skitty (or Delcatty), though.

Caught this one. Pfft, now I can have a dang pink Magmortar. XD

Yay for swarms. Too bad it's a female, though... I really wanted a male.

A really lucky one, hatched via Masuda Method. I finally got the shiny that I've dreamed of since I was playing through Sapphire! Best part is, that I got it on the eighth egg! Currently a Sceptile.

Ugh... you see, I was soft resetting for a shiny Darkrai with the Member Card event, yet I was reading something online at the same time, and of course... I accidentally soft resetted the shiny away with paying attention, and didn't realize it was shiny until the split second I was resetting it. D|

Took forever to get this guy. It took me about two hours to get the chain high enough. I lucked out on his nature, which is Bold. Perfect for an Umbreon wall.

Another shiny came up a few recharges after the other. Not sure what I'm evolving this one into.

♀ (First)

Urgh, I was chaining Ralts trying to get a MALE Adamant shiny. Though it's Adamant, it's no male...

♂ (Second)

Well, around ten minutes later, I managed to find another, and it was male. I was really happy... until I found that Sychronize didn't work on this one, and he has a Quiet nature. Guh.

Random facts about Myself

• I generally only use male Pokémon, because I always have better luck with them than I do with females. I am not sure why.

• I prefer Pokémon from Generation II and on. Even though they started the whole thing, I do not like the original 151 Pokémon, except for a few.

• I do not "troll", or flame people. I respect your opinions.

• I hate swear words, and I refuse use them.

• I know my page may sound a little negative in some places, but please don't get me wrong, I am not negative.

• I actually have a certain character who I like more than Thorton, but he is a non-Pokemon character, and I do not find it necessary to mention who he is here.
