Weather Ball (Japanese: ウェザーボール Weather Ball) is a damage-dealing Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation III, in which it was Castform's signature move.
Effect
When no weather condition is under effect, Weather Ball deals damage of the Template:Type2. During any weather condition, Weather Ball attacks with a different type and its base power doubles to 100. The type that Weather Ball is depends on the weather conditions at the time it is used. It will be:
- Template:Type2 if Sunny Day is under effect.
- Template:Type2 if Rain Dance is under effect.
- Template:Type2 if Hail is under effect.
- Template:Type2 if Sandstorm is under effect.
- Template:Type2 if Fog is under effect or there is no special weather condition in effect.
- Shadow move (and therefore typeless) if Shadow Sky is under effect (in Pokémon XD only).
Type power-ups from the weather will be put into effect, as well as STAB caused by Castform's type changing from its ability, Forecast.

Trivia
- Bellsprout is the only Pokémon to learn Weather Ball through breeding that cannot have Castform as a parent.
- All Pokémon who can learn Weather Ball are weak to at least one type of Weather Ball. Ho-Oh is weak to Water-type and Rock-type Weather Ball. Roserade, Bellsprout, Snorunt, and Cherubi are weak to Fire-type Weather Ball. Lugia, Roserade, Bellsprout, Cherubi, and Drifloon are weak to Ice-type Weather Ball. A Castform with its ability negated or changed will retain the type it was when its ability was negated or changed, so Sunny Castform will be weak to Water-type or Rock-type Weather Ball and Snow-Cloud Castform will be weak to Fire-type or Rock-type Weather Ball.
