Talk pages for Robot Chicken skit guides: Pokémon Bloopers Pikachu Secret

The goal of Encyclopaediae Pokémonis is to be just as international as Pokémon itself, and helping aspiring Pokémon wikis in languages we don't yet have is a great way to help achieve that goal. However, if we don't even know who the possible aspirers for Encyclopaediae Pokémonis's ninth language even are, there's no way any growth can take place. If you speak or understand a language that's currently not represented in Encyclopaediae Pokémonis and happen to find a wiki in that language with aspirations to join Encyclopaediae Pokémonis, then don't hesitate to drop me a line. Remember, an aspirier can't grow if they remain sheltered from the world!

If you understand Brazilian Portuguese, or know someone who does, then the Portuguese arm of Encyclopaediae Pokémonis is in desperate need of your assistance. Many, if not all, of that wiki's articles are in dire need of improvement, be it massive cleanup or even adding some real content to begin with. Their sysops are never around to handle things, and their interwiki bot has done nothing since late September--of 2008. The fact that a trusted member of Encyclopaediae Pokémonis has fallen into such disrepair is disturbing, to say the least. Brazilians do not deserve quality this low. If you can help improve the Portuguese end, then I highly recommend you do so. Today.

Michaeldsuarez

Hi, I'm the real Michaeldsuarez. User:Michaeldsuarez is an impostor who's been trolling me. Don't trust him. He impersonated me on YouTube. The troll left comments on my real YouTube channel about how he's impersonating me here. I would like the impostor blocked please. Any sysops around. --JuniusThaddeus 16:54, 15 April 2010 (UTC)

Well, in any event, I would hate to see anbody (in this case, the impostor) kill themselves over stuff like that impostor said. Trust me, even if a nefarious user such as Ph34r, Jsmith, JohnnyRebel, or Grawp (some of the worst of the worst to have vandalized Bulbapedia) were to announce intent to commit suicide and I saw it, I for one would attempt to talk them out of it. Trust me, even those who are beyond help when it comes to wiki editing would still be worth helping when it came to real life. After all, suicide is basically a permanent solution to a temporary problem, and it is never the best option for anything, even for people who might seem all fucked up and the like. --Shiningpikablu252 17:14, 15 April 2010 (UTC)
He's lying about wanting to commit suicide. He's just trying to make me look bad by stealing my username and spamming random wikis. He simply wishes to tarnish my good name. Did you read the comments on my real YouTube channel? That doesn't sound like someone who wishes to die. --JuniusThaddeus 17:23, 15 April 2010 (UTC)

Jess(i)ebelle?

Did you check the CC for today's episode? How is Jessiebelle's name spelt? All my sources have "Jessebelle" without the "i". If the CC for today's episode have the same, I think the page should be moved. --Maxim 11:46, 17 April 2010 (UTC)

The closed captioning spells it with the I. I recall that being the case back in the day as well (why the CC writers get Jessibelle's same spelling correct but not Growly's I don't know)...--Shiningpikablu252 11:50, 17 April 2010 (UTC)
So, it's "Jessi'belle"? And why is Growly's name incorrect? Is there any official source that contradicts? --Maxim 11:53, 17 April 2010 (UTC)
Actually, the E in that part of the name's there too. "Jessiebelle" is the spelling.
As for the issue on the Growlithe, the way the nickname was spelled on today's episode's closed captioning ("Growlie") contradicts that from the original appearance ("Growly"). Unless the original appearance's DVD subtitles contradict (odds are against this, as contradiction between CC and DVD subtitles is rare), then the spelling of "Growlie" in today's episode's CC is clearly an error (although props to the captioning team for at least getting it wrong consistently). --Shiningpikablu252 12:01, 17 April 2010 (UTC)

Okay dude

Since over the past two months, despite me telling you explicitly that you were on probation, you continued to insist that you were not and that your powers were "glitched", you're not gonna be getting them back.

In short, read my fax. TTEchidna 03:40, 1 May 2010 (UTC)

Exactly how will I be able to get my sysop powers back? I know there has to be a way for me to pass my probation review. I'll do everything I have to in order to get my sysop powers back, trust me...--Shiningpikablu252 11:33, 1 May 2010 (UTC)
If you'd read TTE's post, then you'd know that you are not going to be getting them back. While you've historically been a good editor, your attitude here recently has let you down big time. Please end this charade now. We are perfectly serious and you are no longer an administrator on Bulbapedia. —darklordtrom 11:41, 1 May 2010 (UTC)
I'm asking just how I can overcome this probation just to show I'm not on a charade! I know I can overcome this probation, I know I'll be able to get my sysop powers back, I know it's not too late, I just need to know how! --Shiningpikablu252 11:43, 1 May 2010 (UTC)
No. Allow me to refresh your memory. Two months ago you were put on probation because of comments you had made about Brazilian translators and other issues. For the duration of this period, and even a few days ago, you were insisting you were a "sysop in good standing" and that your "sysop powers [were] glitching", when in fact you had already been put on probation. Because of your failure to mitigate the situation, you have essentially been fired. If you want to have any chance of a future repromotion (slim as may be), I urge you to drop this issue and go back to the mainspace. —darklordtrom 11:51, 1 May 2010 (UTC)
Give up? Never. This probation can be overcome. This probation will be overcome. Nobody will be able to convince me to give up. I'll overcome this probation and regain my sysop powers. It's still not too late for me to do so, I know it, you know it, everyone else knows it. I won't rest until I overcome this probation, mark my words. --Shiningpikablu252 11:54, 1 May 2010 (UTC)
You don't have to rest in the mainspace, Pikablu. But constantly bringing it up on talk pages and the like won't earn you fans among the higher ups. Your mainspace work's what got you power in the first place, and if we decide ever to give it back, you're damn right it'll be a major factor. TTEchidna 12:32, 1 May 2010 (UTC)

Talk pages- Re:DP182

Talk pages are absolutely not for going on for a paragraph about how you think Dawn's Piplup should've evolved and how the writers have "alienated the fanbase". Even if the subject was related to possibly one of Dawn's Pokemon evolving, it does not mean you should go on about your personal speculation about one of her completely different Pokemon. You've done this many times before, bringing up Dawn's Piplup's lack of evolution. Please do not bring it up again unless it's undeniably related to the topic. Thanks. ▫▫ティナ 00:21, 1 June 2010 (UTC)

Probation Status

I'm sorry to inform you, that your recent message on the talk page of DP182 has brought the Editorial Board to its conclusion. Your probation will end, one month ago, and your sysop powers will not be restored. Thank you for understanding. - Kogoro | Talk to me - 01:14, 1 June 2010 (UTC)

Uh, how could a probation that was imposed one month ago be ended retroactive to then? A probation that was imposed back on May 1 should still be on its review period, and quite frankly, I have zero intentions of failing this review. Trust me, I will make sure I, at the very least, pass rewiew and get my sysop powers back. Maybe I can even earn a promotion to Senior Admin...Anyway, I will make sure I get past this probation rewview with 100% success, I promise you at least that. --Shiningpikablu252 01:22, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
Pikablu, you appear to have misread some of the comments left on earlier incarnations of your talk page. Allow me to quote:
Here's the deal. Because you've remained quite adamant against the decisions of the EB and administration, in cases regarding official names such as LV.X (vs Lv.X) and Forme (vs Form), as well as in more recent issues such as being out of line speaking about Brazillian translators and Barry, you're going to be put on probation for a little while. After two months' time, we will re-evaluate you, and if we find you in good standing, you may get your powers back.
Any questions can be brought up by email, or however you choose to keep in contact. TTEchidna 06:29, 23 February 2010 (UTC) (1)
The emphasis is mine. Note that in February, TTEchidna put you on probation and suspended your sysop powers (2, 3). A little over two months later, following your denial of this probation, the Editorial Board suspended your powers indefinitely. (4). See two sections above this one. Today we simply reminded you of that fact.
So as you can see, you are no longer part of the Bulbapedia administrative staff at this current stage. Thanks for your service. You were, at your peak, a good admin. —darklordtrom 01:34, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
Uh, February 23 was a warning. It wasn't until May 1 I ended up on probation. And, quite frankly, these scare tactics do not scare me. Giving in is not something I plan to do. Yes, it's true that I was a good admin. I still am. I always will be. I just need to make sure I pass this probation review to prove everything. I 100% intend to make sure of that. --Shiningpikablu252 01:38, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
No, it wasn't. Did you see the parts that I bolded? —darklordtrom 01:40, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
Everything I said in my last comment was the truth. The whole truth. And nothing but the truth. In fact, I've never lied about anything when it comes to my Bulbapedia sysop powers. Never have. Never will. In fact, one more scare tactic and I might have a mind to report you to the editor-in-chief...--Shiningpikablu252 01:41, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
Since you refuse to listen to two members of the Editorial Board, I will try to put this as simply as possible:

Thank you, - Kogoro | Talk to me - 01:45, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
The Editor-in-Chief said you were fired. I don't think that will help you. -Sketch 01:53, 1 June 2010 (UTC)

Blocked

Since you continue to refuse that you are in fact, no longer a Bulbapedia Administrator, we have no choice left but to give you a week off. Also, as you should already know, removing comments from talk pages is strictly prohibited. Please take this time to understand that you are in the wrong, two times over. - Kogoro | Talk to me - 01:55, 1 June 2010 (UTC)

Okay Pikablu

You want the powers back. You gotta prove it by your actions, not by asking nicely. Edit pages by adding incredible content. Discover the secrets of Generation III that we've let fall to the wind. Grab your GameCube and a copy of Pokémon XD, and play through it. Your job should not be to be the replacement BulbaBot. It will add interwiki links when it can. Encyclopediae Pokémonis's about to get a hell of a lot more organized, so BulbaBot will join up with or take the function of the bots on the other seven (ItWiki's 99% guaranteed at this point), and then we'll have interwiki links, no problem.

You've gotten the Crystal Bulba in the past. It's just that over the past year or so, you've turned into somewhat of an asshole. It's not a scare tactic. It's an attempt to snap you to your senses. You've always been a good contributor. Honestly, man. I gave you your powers since you were deserving. But since then, you've gotten into at least six arguments with other staffmembers, some above you, some on the same level, and even some below you. And they've been about really stupid things. No one cares about Piplup not evolving. Cool it. It's obvious you wanna talk to other fans, throw your opinion out there, and all that mess. That's what the forums are for. If you can, get on AIM (and failing that, use Pidgin). That's how we discuss stupid stuff so it doesn't clog up talk pages, the forums, and the like. And that's 99% among Bulbastaff, so... yeah.

A month before Black and White come out, I'll discuss with the Editorial Board, and if we approve of how you've done over the summer, you'll probably get Junior Admin. And then we'll further inspect you. See if you do well, and if so, you'll level up. You're not a robot. BulbaBot's more social than you, man! Socialize with the community more! Be part of it!

And don't be in denial. Doesn't rub any of us right, and it makes it look like you don't take it seriously.

Also, you'll be unblocked about an hour after you get this message. Why? I love the time function. TTEchidna 00:13, 3 June 2010 (UTC)

Umm..wtf is this??? - yellow03.png Is THIS Glitch Pokemon is on Bulbapedia or not? I got it by this code (in Yellow) - 01F2D7CF + steal pokemon code (to catch it). It knows Vicegrip (PP 30/30) and TM55 (PP 0/0), though when I fought it 2nd time, I saw that it used Drill Peck, Aurora Beam, Rage, Thrash Ice Beam and Take Down, and Pidgeot and my own THAT Glitch Pokemon got for defeating it 4392 exp, and THAT glitch pokemon level to lvl 100, it got freaking high HP (so high that there was loop)and playing summary had not only battle music but also quiet, strange music that i cannot identify. And, it has 1250000 EXP on 100lvl. That fight lasted to 3rd enemy THAT Glitch Pokemon, which used TM05 and freezed game. Marked +-+-+ 20:57, 28 June 2010 (UTC)

"I got it by this code" Those six words instantly make the subject not notable enough for an article. Werdnae (talk) 21:06, 28 June 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, I don't think Bulbapedia would consider that Pokémon to be notable, if cheating device codes are the only way to get it.
Nonetheless, I'd advise you go ahead and ask Missingno. Master about your findings. Trust me, if there's anyone who could either find an avenue for replicating your discovery without the aid of a cheating device or prove there's no such avenue, it's Missingno. Master. Trust me, if Missingno. Master can't find a way to get it without a cheating device, that glitch Pokémon has no hope in possibly getting its own article. --Shiningpikablu252 21:10, 28 June 2010 (UTC)

Sprites.

Animated sprites. Their animation is recorded by something or what? Marked +-+-+ 07:11, 6 July 2010 (UTC)

The method one would use to create an animated sprite depends on whichever file format you use, and also the program one would use to create it. Although many more programs support animated GIF files as opposed to animated PNG files, the latter tends to be preferred on Bulbapedia. --Shiningpikablu252 16:26, 6 July 2010 (UTC)
