- Although Ulgamoth clearly flies, it is not Flying-type, nor can it have the ability Levitate. It shares this trait with Beedrill, Venomoth, Heracross, Dustox, Volbeat and Illumise.
- It learns a new move by level up each tenth level, the only exception being level 59.

Origin
Ulgamoth is based on a moth, particularly the Atlas moth. Conceptwise, it may be based on a solar deity, a type of god said to be able to control various aspects of the sun such as sunrise, sunset, eclipses, position, etc. Its wings may be based on the petals of a tiger lily, having the same number of extensions, black spots, and red-orange coloring.
