Confusion (Japanese: ねんりき Psychokinesis) is a damage-dealing Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation I, It can be seen as a weaker verson of Psychic.
Effect
Confusion does damage and has a 10% chance of confusing the target. Confusion can't confuse a target that is already confused.
In Stadium, Confusion can't confuse a target that has a Substitute.

Trivia
- "Confusion" may not be an entirely correct name, as in the case of the anime, Confusion often causes its target to float in midair, which may not make sense to those unaware of the attack's original Japanese name of Mindpower.
- In the anime, Confusion seems to have the exact same effect as the move Psychic.
- None of the Pokémon that learn Confusion through breeding are Psychic-types.
