Unfezant (Japanese: ケンホロウ Kenhallow) is a Normal/Flying Pokémon.
It evolves from Tranquill starting at level 32. It is the final form of Pidove.
Biology
Physiology
Unfezant is a Pokémon resembling a gamebird. Its coloration mainly consists of light and dark gray, patterned in patches and stripes over its body—a pointed patch on its neck, lacy curves and rimming on its wings, and striping and rimming on its tapered tail. Unfezant have yellow beaks and gray "eyebrow" patterning. Males sport flamboyant, red-pink, ribbon-like wattles extending from a similarly-colored, featherless "mask" on their face, while females have only a curved, pointed feather on the back of their heads. The undersides of male Unfezant are mint green, speckling onto its upper belly. With females, it is brown. Unfezant's legs have a black band at the top, with gray coloration on the rest of the limb, which possess pheasant-like spurs on the backs. Both genders have a train of long tail feathers.
Gender differences
The males have large wattles. Their underbellies are green, and they have a more extravagant look and color. The females have a small crest, and are mostly gray, black, and brownish-tan.
Special abilities
The females are better than the males at flying.
Behavior
Its disposition allows it to only warm up to its Trainer. Males swing their head plumage to threaten their opponents.

Trivia
- Unfezant, along with Frillish's family, are the only Generation V Pokémon that have gender differences.
- Unfezant is the only Pokémon that has a base stat total of 478.
- Unfezant is the only Pokémon introduced in Generation V that has a name that starts with the letter U.
- Despite being stated that female Unfezant are better at flying and faster than the male ones, the movepool and the base stats are the same for both.
Origin
While its pre-evolutions resemble wild pigeons, Unfezant most closely resembles a gamebird, such as a pheasant, turkey or tragopan. It is also similar in appearance to the Greater Roadrunner. Unfezant's gender differences reflect sexual dimorphism in real-life birds in that males have large wattles and are more colorful than the females.
Name origin
Unfezant may be a combination of the corruptions of unpleasant, unfazed, and pheasant.
Kenhallow may derive from けんもほろろ ken-mo-hororo (curt or brusque). Additionally, ケン ken and ホロロ hororo are both onomatopoeia of pheasant cries.
