The weather trio is a trio of legendary Pokémon that appeared as major characters in Hoopa and the Clash of Ages. They appeared when they were summoned by Hoopa and would appear fighting each other, causing much damage to Désert City in the process.

Groudon (Japanese: グラードン Groudon) appeared in the 18th Pokémon movie, Hoopa and the Clash of Ages.

History

Groudon would mainly appear in the movie as Primal Groudon. It first appeared in the movie when it was summoned by Hoopa in its Unbound form in order to terrorize Désert City. It would appear alongside its counterpart, Primal Kyogre, and it would clash with its counterpart in battle.

Primal Groudon would also face off against several other legendaries, including Mega Rayquaza.

Rayquaza (Japanese: レックウザ Rayquaza) appeared in the 18th Pokémon movie, Hoopa and the Clash of Ages.

History

Rayquaza would appear in the movie as Mega Rayquaza. This particular Rayquaza was also Shiny. It would appear when summoned by Hoopa in its attempt to stop its Unbound form's rampage. It would appear alongside several other legendaries, such as Lugia, Latios, and Latias, and fought with many others, including Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre.
