Grammar and LTs

You gotta improve on your grammar a bit, man. It makes sense, but... ehhhhhhh.

Also, link templates are our policy. We prefer versions be linked with the {{game}} template. TTEchidna 00:12, 9 September 2010 (UTC)

Moves

If you need any move unprotected from create-protect, tell me. I will gladly unprotect them. MaverickNate 16:45, 30 September 2010 (UTC)

Thank you

Very much for the Dream World thing. Thanks. --444Zekrom 14:27, 10 October 2010 (UTC)

Grammar

You need to improve on your grammar a bit. "due the" doesn't have any meaning. Try to improve a little before making newer edits. Thank you.--Sher-e-Bengal- 11:34, 11 October 2010 (UTC)

Please

Now that we have all the new Pokémon, abilities, and moves created, it is requested that you make sure you use the translations that we use as standard. Some of your edits to the breeding sections have resulted in some redlinks. It isn't a big deal, I just want to make sure you are aware. MaverickNate 05:37, 16 October 2010 (UTC)

GRAMMAR PLEASE?

Sorry if I seem rude, but half the your recent edits have grammatical errors which I am getting tired of fixing. Please double-check your grammar or at least check it in a program such as Microsoft Word. --+ Joeshie + (is Mæ!) 02:14, 18 October 2010 (UTC)

Breeding tables

Hi. Thanks for your work on the breeding tables, but we're actually taking the line breaks out for a reason: they were making the tables far too tall. Bikini Miltank 20:24, 20 October 2010 (UTC)

Hi

Please use the preview button before saving your edits, that way you can check for grammar errors, which you have made a couple of times recently. Also, the way you have worded your trivia (which I might add, is not notable enough to be on the pages anyway) makes it seem as though they are the only pokemon in their egg groups.XVuvuzela2010X 06:21, 16 December 2010 (UTC)

Can you help me?

I've been having trouble with Nuzleaf. People keep deleting a really interesting trivia post and I'm getting really frustrated. It talks about the similarity of a Red Pikmin and a shiny Nuzleaf. Can you figure that out for me and let me know? Thanks. - unsigned comment from Pokedex493 (talkcontribs)

Sprite trivia is strictly prohibited. Gliscorguy54 01:37, 18 December 2010 (UTC)

Lyra/Ethan's Rattata

Are you taking this move data from what a wild Rattata would have at that level, or did you look inside the game's code and check that Rattata? --SnorlaxMonster 10:29, 18 December 2010 (UTC)

If you don't reply to this, I'm going to have to assume that you assumed and revert you. --SnorlaxMonster 15:13, 11 January 2011 (UTC)

Last warning

Grammar. You need to fix it. And the preview button. Use it. You've been warned about these things before a couple times. If you don't fix it, you may be susceptible to a block. Also, trivia. Stop adding it. Inexperienced users generally should avoid adding trivia as its a fairly slippery slope due to proper notability. If you think something it notable, bring it up on a talk page first. -- MAGNEDETH 00:53, 20 December 2010 (UTC)

Thanks.

I was gonna finish anyway, but thanks for putting the Gen I table thing together. TTEchidna 01:48, 31 December 2010 (UTC)

Jungle cards

Please. If you can't finish everything that needs finished with changing the templates, don't do it at all. MaverickNate 15:11, 11 January 2011 (UTC)

You also did it wrong anyway, All types get capitalized. Now someone has to go over everything you just did, and do it again. What a waste! MaverickNate 15:13, 11 January 2011 (UTC)

Regarding Pokédex entries for TCG

Only make use of that template on Pokémon with the Japanese entries as well, thanks. ht14 21:41, 27 January 2011 (UTC)

This means don't change that template unless you can actually add the Japanese text in the edit yourself as well. Also, how can a Japanese card have an English dex entry? Please don't change these until you know what is going on with every card. MaverickNate 19:41, 28 January 2011 (UTC)
I don't want you to change anymore. The FIRST contribution of yours I pulled up was Blissey in Neo Revelation. The fake japanese dex entry you put does NOT match what the Japanese card has for its dex entry. Since you are doing it wrong, you are not allowed to do it anymore. Don't mess with me. If you change any more, I'll need to take further action. I don't like people doing things half-assed, and when they actually add false information, which is a blockable offense, I get really upset, especially when it's in the section I spent three years building it. Don't change anymore of the pages. MaverickNate 03:22, 6 February 2011 (UTC)

{{TCGNote}}

Hey. Just wanted to tell you something, this template had Leafeon instead of Mesprit. I fixed it for you. Try to edit it all before you click Submit. And don't worry, I make mistakes too, I just wanted to tell you. Masatoshi talk contribs 07:24, 28 January 2011 (UTC)

Japanese move translits

Thank you for adding these for Gen IV! I've added most from F-M now, as well as editing some of yours so they're more in line with Bulbapedia norms (the character palette āēīōū is your friend, and "wo" is often written "o" here)! Jocund Lilac 16:47, 22 April 2011 (UTC)

Welcoming

Make sure when welcoming, you do so on the user's talkpage, not the userpage. Thanks. ht14 01:31, 4 May 2011 (UTC)

What the heck? I was just abusing other userspace? D: Sorry, I was unaware of that. AKUro? あくロちゃん 01:39, 4 May 2011 (UTC)

umm...

I was just cuorise on why you removed so much from the Duskclops breeding table Truthseeker4449 23:54, 2 September 2011 (UTC)

Just removed chain breeding father list, as they are just make the table too long --> AKUro? あくロちゃん 00:02, 3 September 2011 (UTC)
But if they can pass the move on, don't we have to list them. Also since the only things on those pages are the level up tables, the breeding table, and the Move tutor table, I don't think that we have to make the page smaller. Truthseeker4449 00:16, 3 September 2011 (UTC)
Yeah, but several moves have that problem, such as Tail Whip, which there are too many Pokémon learn it. We just need the simplest way to passing down the move. AKUro? あくロちゃん 00:35, 3 September 2011 (UTC)
Fine then just forget I asked Truthseeker4449
You did a similar thing on Machamp's gen III breeding table. Mr. Mime can pass Counter down to him, and he himself can learn it through move tutor. You couldn't have removed it because the list was getting too long, as there were only three on it. Whether or not this is practical (as you could simply tutor it to Machamp) isn't necessary, as its practicality doesn't affect its validity. I'm going to re-add Mr. Mime with a caption as to how he learns it, but please don't remove things just because they go by a method you wouldn't follow. --Gerix 00:21, 24 March 2012 (UTC)
The Bulbapedia standard is to only list the most direct fathers. So if a father can learn it via leveling up, we don't list fathers that can only learn it via move tutor. --SnorlaxMonster 02:04, 24 March 2012 (UTC)
I see what you mean. I thought he was just blindly removing relevant information, but I'll take your word for it. Sorry Akuro --Gerix 03:52, 29 March 2012 (UTC)

Move tutor

I have noticed that have been making quite a lot of mistakes. I have corrected what I am pretty sure is all of them. Please carefully read Template talk:Moveentry/tutor and review the various changes that I have made to your edits before using the template again. It is also important to preview edits which are using a new template, and edits like this one make it obvious that you did not preview before saving. --SnorlaxMonster 14:25, 5 September 2011 (UTC)

The Preview Button

Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Changes button... Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Thanks! ----Pokemaster97 00:19, 27 September 2011 (UTC)

Two things. For first, is it from the man in Yamaji Town? For second, how many Pokémon you checked for Drill Run's compatibility? Marked +-+-+ (talk) 12:47, 6 July 2012 (UTC)

1) If you're talking about Drill Run one, no certainly it isn't from Yamaji Town. It's from Driftveil City.
2) You don't have to check all Pokémon for the compatibility. Just checked the compatibility on the game data.

Magical Pokémon Journey

Hi! I hope you don't mind me asking, but I noticed you did most of the work on the Pokémon in Indonesia article, so I figured if anyone on the wiki could answer my question, it might be you :) do you know if the Panda Books edition of Magical Pokémon Journey is the same translation as VIZ Media/Chuang Yi or a different translation?? Thanks!! --ZestyCactus 00:21, 27 October 2012 (UTC)

Probably comes from Chuang Yi's translation, since they have the same cover and the red Pokémon logo as Chuang Yi. btw, just found out that Panda Books is the publisher for Electric Tale of Pikachu in Indonesian too. AKUro? あくロちゃん 11:10, 29 October 2012 (UTC)
Well, the red Pokémon logo isn't just used by Chuang Yi, it's used officially in a lot of Asian countries such as Thailand, Philippines and of course Singapore. However since the cover design for that Electric Tale of Pikachu book is like literally identical i'd be willing to bet it is based on CY's version :D thanks for the response! --ZestyCactus 00:05, 30 October 2012 (UTC)

Before you go around claiming such a thing, I'd like to let you know that the video for PK23 was put on the official Japanese Pokemon Youtube page. I have no idea why it's private now, but it's far from "illegal". Ataro (talk) 06:02, 13 December 2012 (UTC)

Pokémon pages

Your event knowledge and work is greatly appreciated, but please hold off on editing the Pokémon pages that use the templates for the event Pokémon listings. Since the event pages are in the works of being reorganized, it will most likely create more work later on. However, the event pages can still be edited. Thanks. Lady Ariel 23:19, 14 December 2012 (UTC)

The Pokémon event templates have been updated, and the Pokémon pages can be updated to relink to the new event pages and include events that aren't added yet. Bulbasaur is an example of how it should be done. Thanks. Lady Ariel 19:14, 5 January 2013 (UTC)

GTS events

Just so you know, the GTS events have set dates and met levels that are not the same as the date and level they are obtained at (in many cases), so require those to be listed and the met levels should not be assumed. --SnorlaxMonster 06:45, 16 February 2013 (UTC)

PGL event Pokémon languages

Any PGL event Pokémon that is going to be distributed to English, French, German, Italian, and/or Spanish will also be distributed to the other languages. Since games of any of those languages can be registered in any of the countries that would speak those languages. So for example the newly announced Dragonite and Tyranitar events for English games, will also be available to French, German, Italian, and Spanish games. Lady Ariel 01:43, 3 March 2013 (UTC)

Heights/Weights

Make sure that you are as precise as possible with these. If the games/official site state "1.0 m" is the height, we need to list it as "1.0 m", and we can't hack off the .0. I saw that you kept it on Absol's Weights, but not Mawile's Height. Thanks for noticing that they were needed! MaverickNate 11:31, 9 October 2013 (UTC)

lop/ability

Hi. I see you're apparently trying to update Template:lop/ability so the List of Pokémon by Ability can show two Hidden Abilities in one cell. But I don't think that'd look very good, and I also think that's not so much what the list is (or kind of should be) for exactly. I think the list should just be for the current abilities of Pokemon.

I can certainly understand if you want an easily accessible link to the Pokemon's pre-Gen VI Hidden Ability. As an alternative to putting it all in the current tables, though, maybe we could just create a new section/table that just lists Pokemon who have had ability changes (changes only, I think, not additions like Starly gaining Reckless, or Jigglypuff gaining Competitive). A solution like that kind of appeals to me.

In any case, like I said, I don't think it's actually a good idea to try to display two HAs in the main List of Pokemon by Ability, and I want to revert your edits to the template. I just thought maybe we could talk about it before I do that, rather than after, and hopefully reach an understanding... =) Tiddlywinks (talk) 14:23, 28 November 2013 (UTC)

Sky Attack

I noticed you changed Sky Attack's page to say that it has had a high critical hit ratio since Gen III. Was this based on the in-game descriptions? Because it is known that the move doesn't actually have a high critical hit ratio in at least some of the games the description says it does. --SnorlaxMonster 15:34, 4 October 2014 (UTC)

[1] Shadow Mewtwo can use Slash by pressing (Y) during Psywave. Why did you delete it? ¿¡Unowninator?! (talk) 16:32, 14 January 2018 (UTC)
