Graveler (Japanese: ゴローン Golone, German: Georok, French: Gravalanch) is a Rock/Ground-type Pokémon.
Pokédex entries
- Pokémon Emerald
- They descend from mountains by tumbling down steep slopes. They are so brutal, they smash aside obstructing trees and massive boulders with thunderous tackles.
- Pokémon FireRed
- Be careful while hiking on mountain trails. Graveler may come rolling down the path without slowing.
- Pokémon LeafGreen
- Rolls down slopes to move. It rolls over any obstacle without slowing or changing its direction.
Name origin
Graveler's name is possibly derived from gravel. It could also be a corruption of groveler, someone who bows at the feet of a superior. Its Japanese name may be a combination of golem and stone. Additionally, ゴロゴローン gorogoroon is the sound of rolling, a passtime of Graveler.
Graveler doesn't share much in common with anything but stones.
