Talk:Teru-sama
So, what exactly does "Teru-sama" mean? --TIMMY 06:14, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
The Teru-sama can be sold at a high price, so it could be used for File:Pokébuck sign.gif, right?
Doesn't "-sama" denote a far higher level of respect and importance than "Mr./Mrs."? I mean, "Mr./Mrs." is usually associated with "-san", and "Lord/Lady" with "-sama"... right? Or am I mistaken? --Pie ~♪♫ 07:14, 29 September 2007 (UTC)

Kanto map
But is it the GSC Kanto map, or the RBY one? I assume GSC but... TTEchidna 20:06, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
- The GSC one. However, when I try I get Johto, not Kanto:
- The colors are different only because the map starts fading out as soon as it appears. IIMarckus 03:38, 14 January 2009 (UTC)
Sprite?
Do we have a sprite for the Teru-sama? ZanderX 08:53, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
- Gen II items didn't have sprites. Those were introduced in Gen III. Since Teru-sama is a Gen II glitch item, it can't have a sprite. - Kogoro | Talk to me | 09:00, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
Become GS Ball
anyone have proof that it can actually turn into a GS Ball? -- MAGNEDETH 18:15, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
- At least I've never seen any proof, I've just heard rumors. I think it's not true. UltimateSephiroth (user · talk · contrib) 18:17, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
- It can’t. Teru‐Sama has nothing to do with the GS Ball. Despite this, somehow it has become ingrained in people’s minds that it is somehow related to it—but there really is no relation whatsoever. Teru‐Sama has as much relation to the GS Ball as it does to the Egg Ticket. IIMarckus 18:20, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
- To be honest, I'm just going by all the rumors i've heard, which is a surprising amount for it not to be true. ~~Takoto| サソデイ 18:22, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
- Nonetheless, the rumors are false. Try it yourself—get each individual Teru‐Sama with a Gameshark (there are over 30). Kurt won’t accept a single one. IIMarckus 18:26, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
- I have always wanted to try it, but I don't have a Gameshark. I used to, but it broke a while ago. ~~Takoto| サソデイ 18:27, 9 November 2008 (UTC)

- Given that the Teru-sama is sellable, I'd wager that a Teru-sama is holdable as well. One question is on my mind: Is a Teru-sama tradable? (Or will the game detect it as a weird item and not link up?) If so, it's quite possible that a certain individual Teru-sama can indeed turn into a GS Ball if traded to Crystal. --Shiningpikablu252 19:57, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
My friend- an adept hacker-got a bunch of Teru-Samas and at least one became a GS Ball. As for the trade, that's an interesting theory... I'll get back to you on that one... Kiryu 23:36, 22 December 2008 (UTC)
- I've wondered if "Teru-Sama" is actually a typo of "Teru-Tama", i.e. "Sunshine Ball". That would at least make more sense than "Lord Sunshine." HyperHacker 00:43, 26 May 2009 (UTC)
I have a Monster Brain which shows the GS Ball in Crystal (English version). I have tried that and the Teru-sama in the corresponding slot of Gold (English version) and neither work. Bulbapedia and Wikipedia have already reported that the GS Ball will never work in the English version of Crystal because the routines required for the event were left out of all non-Japanese language versions. I have just confirmed this one last time. What do the hackers hack? ROMs? Say so. ROMs should not count anyway. White Phoenix 06:34, 3 October 2009 (UTC)
