Alyssa (Japanese: イズナ Izuna) is a character of the day from Hoenn that appeared in A Different Kind of Misty.
She is Thatcher's sister. She and her brother were guarding the light stone, which were given to the village by a man with a Pikachu many years ago to operate their village's lighthouse. She uses her Magnemite to charge the light stone and often criticizes her brother for not being able to use his Plusle and Minun to charge the stone. She also criticizes him for not being able to help anything in battles except cheering. She felt sorry for the trouble caused to Ash by her brother. She later thanked him for successfully teaching her brother in how to battle.
