Mainspace articles
Created a few articles for possible mainspacing, was wondering if you could take a look at my page and tell me if any are ready for it?--BigDocFan (talk) 16:48, 20 May 2018 (UTC)
Your talk archive
I'd like to point out that there are multiple unresolved concerns presented at User talk:Kogoro/8#Template:MoveInfobox. Nescientist (talk) 09:34, 26 May 2018 (UTC)
Usage of the word "native"
Hello. I noticed that you and the other chiefs of staff have ruled that the term "natives" should absolutely not be used on the "Biology" section of the Raichu article, and I was redirected to you by Abcboy for further discussion on the matter. It was an issue that PardescanSlowbro raised out of concerns that the word is inherently offensive and incidentally racist to people of indigenous descent, a viewpoint that I and Force Fire highly disagreed with because the word was being used in an entirely non-offensive context. I'm not going to argue against your ruling because you all apparently reached this ruling with a reasoning that had nothing to do with concerns of incidental racism. But I am now curious as to whether your ruling will apply to all other articles that use the word "native(s)" in some way or form, or even phrases like "native to" or something along those lines. I hope it won't, because I feel doing so would be a silly overreaction, but I digress.
Hope to hear from you about the matter soon. Thanks! GrammarFreak01 (talk) 05:10, 3 July 2018 (UTC)
Why is Shipping allowed?
Hello Kogoro, I was wondering, why is shipping allowed on this encyclopedia? There is almost no fact behind it, a lot of the time it claims that "shippers" have noticed something that suggests that 10 year olds should be in a relationship, but never cites it. Why not just have one article that merely acknowledgeds its existence but doesn't promote fan theories that should be left on web fourms. If this speculation is allowed then many other fan theories should be by this logic be allowed.Great Bear (talk) 23:47, 16 September 2018 (UTC)
Sea Cottage Bill's Secret Garden rumours - edit war with ForceFire
Hi Kogoro. I recently added information regarding the Bill's Secret Garden rumour to the Sea Cottage page, one of the most notorious Pokémon rumours of all time. After doing so, ForceFire removed it without adequate discussion, claiming that it lacked appropriate notability. I have provided a wealth of sources on the talk page attesting to the spread and notoriety of the rumour, including many well-known sites which compare the Secret Garden rumour to the truck and Mewthree. I requested a second opinion from Dennou as I felt ForceFire was behaving in an authoritarian manner, but I'm now contacting you because ForceFire is continuing to remove this information without engaging in discussion. I find this deeply troubling, as this disregard for regular users and rejection of accountability is bound to have a negative effect on the wiki as a whole. --Poppy :3 14:54, 20 November 2018 (UTC)
- As a follow-up, ForceFire has inappropriately issued a warning for edit warring, despite it being him who is engaging in edit warring. I have at all points sought discussion, whereas he has ignored my comments and provided extremely tardy accounts for his actions. --Poppy :3 15:00, 20 November 2018 (UTC)
- Additionally, ForceFire has removed the evidence I have provided on the talk page for the Sea Cottage page, contrary to the talk page policy. I believe it would be appropriate for him to recuse himself from this matter. --Poppy Appletree 15:32, 20 November 2018 (UTC)
I'm pretty sure I'm doing this title and stuff in the wrong place
SeeYaLater (talk) 16:17, 3 December 2018 (UTC) Erm... So, I edited a few of bulbapedia page (not sure if my edits still are there, though, I'm sure of one), and I still can't edit my userpage thing.
Ermm... Thank you...
question
Hello, why is there profanity allowed in some of the userboxes? I find it extremely off putting and unnecessary. Especially for someone like an admin to use it. Nekohappi2 (talk) 05:08, 17 December 2018 (UTC)
- Could you elaborate? --Raltseye prata med mej 11:25, 17 December 2018 (UTC)
- They must be talking about how Kogoro has the f-word and the s-word in templates on her user page. Kikugi (talk) 11:51, 17 December 2018 (UTC)
Kether Donohue
Hello
My name is Ritaya Moriarty.
I am bringing up an unsourced claim propagated by Force Fire, regarding Kether Donohue.
FF keeps adding the name Annice Moriarty to the page, claiming that she used this pesudonym, despite there being no source linking her to this Malagasy name.
Annice Moriarty (pronounced as Ann-ih-say), was given to her by our mother, who sadley died in 2007, so we never did find out what the name means as her and Annie moved to New York when she was 12 back in 1988.
I am trying to get out of people where they get the whole thing from that Kether Donohue appropriated the name Annice Moriarty. Yes they have similar voices and may have been in the same shows, I do not deny that for a moment, but I do dispute the user-generated IMDB credits.
I tested this on IMDB a while ago, they do not check sources, most of the time they just add it and never check if it is for real or not. I am also working on removing all Annice Moriarty related things from Kether's IMDB page.
You guys need to be careful when you use that site, if it is indeed where you guys get this thing from, as IMDB is meant to say more like who was in this show, not what alternative names they use.
The thing with pseudonyms is you must be careful and be able to always verify them.
So unless somebody can find something of Kether Donohue saying, "I used the name Annice Moriarty", I am afraid there's nothing to verify that claim.
yes it has existed on the internet for eons and eons, but I request that you talk with force fire, and explain to them that this claim is totally unsourced and based likely upon them having similar voices.
I understand force fire's concern about me proving that I am indeed the sister of Annice Moriarty, I'm working on that.
In the mean time, please either stop force fire form readding the name Annice Moriarty to Kether Donohue until you guys can source a verifiable non-user generated IMDB source that says that Donohue appropriated this name.
We have to be careful in these times.
thanks.

A new suggestion: 60-second rule on talk pages
Because Archaic is very busy, I think I have an idea. Since you're the current Editor-in-Chief, I have to write to you, Kogoro.
The idea is to introduce a sixty-second rule to talk pages. Any suggestions to remove this rule will be a block-able offense. It works like this: should a user post a new message to a talk page, and then they must wait 60 seconds between posts (120 seconds for users that are not yet autoconfirmed). The time of this rule will be calculated according to the server's clock. This method will be very efficient, as it will work well against spam.
Thank you for reading. --TheICTLiker4 16:24, 6 September 2019 (UTC)
- I see no reason for a rule like this, it would cause much more trouble than possible gains. - Kogoro - Talk to me - 04:01, 9 September 2019 (UTC)
- And I'm even asking the wrong person, as MediaWiki didn't implement this feature yet. Sorry, but that actually was a joke! Haha! --TheICTLiker4 15:28, 9 September 2019 (UTC)
