The Pokémon Daisuki Club (Japanese: ポケモンだいすきクラブ Pokémon Fan Club) is the name of the Japanese Pokémon fan club, the Japanese equivalent to Pokémon Trainer Club. Its website first opened in late June, 2004[1] and features several activities for its members, including a customizable Trainer profile, mini-games, contests, events and special offers. Its name is a reference to the in-game Pokémon Fan Club.

Special offers

Pokémon Daisuki Club Limited Edition DS Lite

Among other things, Pokémon Daisuki Club frequently features special offers for its members. Notably, there is a Nintendo DS Lite Special Edition designed specifically for the Daisuki Club; coming in four variations, all white, it features poses of Pikachu and the Sinnoh first partner Pokémon. Another two special white Nintendo DS Lites, one featuring Giratina, and the other featuring Arceus with the Pokémon of Myth, have also been available for members of the club, accommodating the release of Pokémon Platinum and the revelation of Arceus, respectively. Other Pokémon merchandise has also been made available.

Mini-games

Several mini-games and related activities are available in Pokémon Daisuki Club, some permanent and others available in special events and festivals. The Pokémon Trainer Club uses many of these games along with others, styled in a similar manner.

Manga and books

W Mission Story: Pokémon Ranger - the Comic

A number of Pokémon manga and books have been made available for members of the Pokémon Daisuki Club. This includes Hidenori Kusaka and Satoshi Yamamoto's Pokémon Ranger the Comic: Double Mission and Darkrai Mission Story: Pokémon Ranger Vatonage - the Comic, available for reading exclusively for the club's members. The site also features a series of children books, namely, Pokémon Daisuki Ehon. Most recently, a short Trading Card Game-based manga series named Pokémon Card Game Battle Comic was held, promoting the Pokémon LEGEND series.

Songs

Several songs have been released for Pokémon Daisuki Club promotions on the official Japanese Pokémon YouTube channel.
