Release information

This card was reprinted as a holographic card in the Legendary Collection reprint set, which was only released outside of Japan.

Trivia

The promo Dark Persian is essentially a reprint of this card, the primary differences being the different artwork, and Fascinate being called Tempt on that card. The attacks have the exact same effect, and the Japanese versions of the cards referred to both attacks by the same name. The reason for the differing names on the English versions is unknown.

Origin

• Fascinate's Japanese name is that of Captivate, a move in the Pokémon games that Persian can learn, though it wasn't until Generation IV that this move would be introduced.
• This card may be based off of Giovanni's Persian of the Pokémon anime.
