Trivia
- Buizel's US name was revealed on January 27, 2007.
Origin
Buizel seems to be based on an otter. The fact that Buoysel spins its forked-tail like a propeller is not unlike that of Tails of the Sonic the Hedgehog series.
Name origin
Buizel is believed to be a combination of ブイ buoy and ウィゼル weasel. Buoysel is similarly named.
