An Egg Scramble! (Japanese: ジョウトフェスタ！ チコリータとワニノコ登場！！ Jōto Festa! Enter Chicorita and Waninoko!!) is the 143rd episode of the Diamond & Pearl series, and the 609th episode of the Pokémon anime. It first aired in Japan as a 1 hour special on September 17, 2009, along with Gone With the Windworks! and will air in the United States on February 6, 2010.

• This is the first episode of the five-part 'Kotone and Khoury' mini-arc.
• Kotone's Johto introduction showed Clair in her Generation IV outfit.
• This is the first time that a main character receives an egg in which it hatches in the same episode.
• The episode shows many of the new key items within HeartGold and SoulSilver. At their stall, Kazunari and his father are selling items such as Apricorns, Apricorn Cases, Berry Planters, Rage Candy Bars, and Apricorn Shakers.
• This episode, which featured Dawn getting a new Pokémon (Cyndaquil), aired close to when To Thine Own Pokémon Be True! aired in the US, which featured her releasing a Pokémon (Ambipom).
  • Interestingly, Cyndaquil knows the move Swift, one of Ambipom's most-used moves
• Much like how Marilyn from Battling a Cute Drama! called Dawn Hikarin, Kotone also calls Dawn this.
• The move Water Gun receives a new digital effect in this episode.
