Volume 1: The Electric Tale of Pikachu! is the first of four volumes of the Electric Tale of Pikachu manga series created by 小野 敏洋 Toshihiro Ono.

Trivia
- In the VIZ Media translation, Clefairy Tale is published as chapter two and Play Misty For Me is published as chapter three for unknown reasons. This creates a continuity error, as Ash uses his Butterfree in Clefairy Tale, which supposedly hasn't evolved yet as it evolves in Play Misty For Me. The reason for this is because before the graphic novel was released, it was first published like an American Comic Book as individual chapters. After controversy from the first issue/chapter being released relatively uncut, the second chapter was pushed back to the third issue so editing could be done.
