Less is Morrison (Japanese: ライバル登場!マサムネとダンバル!! Rival Enters! Masamune and Dumbber) is the 118th episode of the Advanced Generation series, and the 392nd episode of the Pokémon anime. It was first broadcast in Japan on March 10, 2005 and in the United States on February 11, 2006.
While on the way to the Grand Festival, the group meets a Beldum trainer named Morrison. After hearing that Morrison also intends to enter the Hoenn League, a new rivalry between Ash and Morrison is born.
Synopsis

Ash, Max, May, and Brock are relaxing in the woods one day when a giant sandwich comes rolling down a hill, followed by a stocky male with red hair.
The man introduces himself as Morrison, and he tells Ash that he's competing to get into the Hoenn League. He brags that he's gotten seven badges. Ash sheepishly tells him that he has earned all eight. Morrison, shocked that Ash has already gotten his eight badges. He then challenges him to a Pokémon battle.
Ash uses Pikachu and Morrison uses Beldum. The battle ends in a double knock-out.
Later, Ash meets up with Morrison at the Pokémon Center and the two race to get their Pokémon healed. The two then compete in a eating contest, and staying in very hot water. At night, Morrison sleeps outside with his Beldum to enjoy the nature, and Ash decides to join in with Pikachu.
In the morning the two compete in more challenges, until Team Rocket trap them in a cage. Morrison and Ash fight Seviper and Cacnea, and free Pikachu and Beldum. The two Pokémon work together and manage to defeat the Rockets.
Morrison then sails off, promising to meet Ash in the Hoenn League.
