Hey guys! I'm mainly a passive browser, but I occassionally edit when I find spelling errors or plain wrong facts. I specialise in Pokémon universe canon, but I'll do anything that doesn't involve a lot of tables. Yeesh. Also, I love reading userpages and people's nostalgia stories of Pokémon almost as much - if not as much - as the actual articles.

What I perceive to be current game canon is anything in FRLG/HGSS/E/Pt, and anything in older games which does not contradict anything in more recent games. Anything else is retconned. However, there are flaws in my strict ideology - just as there are flaws within what actually happens in the Pokémon continuity because it is always changing. For example, it is not contradicted directly that Leaf helped defeat Team Rocket in Generation III, however, her absence in HGSS and statements that it was Red who did so implies that she did not. This also applies to the absence of Kris.

My experience of Pokémon while growing up was mainly the animé and watching other people play because for years my parents refused to buy me a GameBoy until I eventually wore them down. As such, I found Pokémon-related stuff wherever I could - I was a walking Bulbapedia back in the day, and could name all 151 Kanto Pokémon, in order. Gladly, I've forgotten this sad trait now. lol
