Leveling normal Pokémon past 100
Are there any other standard Pokémon which evolve past level 100? --SnorlaxMonster 11:27, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
Article name
Maybe "Hex D8" is a more apropirate name, as there there are other glitches with similar names such as Z4. Either that, or if someone could check the sprite to see if we can name it based on its sprite (like Glitchy Charizard and Glitch Nidorino) --SnorlaxMonster 01:46, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
What's wrong with calling it 7? Mattiuscn 17:47, 13 April 2010 (UTC)
If you look on the status screen, its original name on the second page is actually ~'PkMn'. --Chickasaurus 20:31, 13 April 2010 (UTC)
Machop/Machoke cannot be obtained over level 100 without gameshark!
Although Machoke does evolve into this glitch at level 234 the Mew Glitch normally allows one to encounter pokemon only level 1 to level 13 depending on the byte that manages the opponent's attack stat boosts. Level 7 is neutral whilst 13 is a max boost and 1 is a minimum boost. Therefore one cannot obtain a pokemon over level 100 using the mew trick alone because you cannot naturally have over six attack boosts.
One over level 100 also cannot be found using the Old Man Glitch; machop corresponds to a bold S, which is not listed on the New Game interface whilst Machoke corresponds to a blank space which is never used normally. --Chickasaurus 19:18, 1 January 2010 (UTC)
Ok I'm confused
Are cheat-only Gen I glitches allowed now? If so we'll have to bring back the pages for 105*2 glitch Pokémon (256-151) times two for Pokémon Yellow.
Or is it just the Pokémon encounterable via glitch trainer we are accepting? --Chickasaurus 12:40, 1 April 2010 (UTC)
- We're not. It was that these were thought to be legitimately obtainable. Either they'll be moved to User:UltimateSephiroth/Evacuated glitch Pokémon articles or hidden from the template like 8 and PkMn n. I hope for the second one, but will probably be the first one. That is, unless another glitch to find them is found. --SnorlaxMonster 02:49, 3 April 2010 (UTC)
