Anime Templates

Finally, an admin comes on. I need some help. You may not have much experience in the anime department, but I'd like you to take a look here → [1] Also, look at the edits to Dark Void, Spacial Rend, and others. Do you think you could shed some light on this, please? This is all very aggrvating. Littlmiget123 14:38, 7 May 2010 (UTC)

I don't know that template as well as I know some others, but if I understand correctly, tc simply changed the parameters of the template so that you don't have to write them anymore... That's all. Now, if the output is all the same, I don't really see the need to make those edits - they add revisions which are saved in the history anyway... But if someone's editing the pages anyway, then yes, cutting down the parameters would be fine. --electAbuzzzz 14:47, 7 May 2010 (UTC)
The way I see it, it should be kept the way it is. It looks professional that way, and the way that tc is putting it, it makes it look sloppy, lazy. I worked really hard on all of those. If it is the same either way, does it really matter if those extra letters are there? Does it slow down Bulbapedia? Littlmiget123 14:58, 7 May 2010 (UTC)
Templates should be programmed to be easy and logical to use. Generally speaking, yes - the lower a page's length is, the less server space it takes, but as I said, if you add a revision just to take off those parameters, you help nothing; it's counter-productive. Either way, nothing tc is doing is harming the hard work you did. He's only removing the parameter names. To put it simply - none of this really matters. --electAbuzzzz 16:46, 7 May 2010 (UTC)
Okay. That's all I needed to know. Thank you for answering my question. Littlmiget123 17:16, 7 May 2010 (UTC)

Vietnam

I don't remember exactly what year but in my memories it's nearly 10 years from the 1st time I watched Pokemon anime on Vietnamese TV Channel. Everything non-Vietnamese which was broadcast in VN is some kind of difference with in another countries. Most of them have the voice-over instead of VNese dub, especially in the past. That means Pokemon is not the exception.
Pokemon Anime was broadcast in Vietnamese national TV Station, VTV3 Channel (maybe) for 2 initial seasons. Besides, Vinabook Co.ltd published this anime series in VCD from the 1st episode up to Advanced Generation. I'm not sure about Pokemon Diamond & Pearl 'cause I don't like this part of Pokemon series. - unsigned comment from Meo3chan (talkcontribs)

E-mail sent

Sorry for the late reply, I didn't really check my mailbox lately. I've translated the text in question and sent it to you but there's nothing that I can do more. I'm not really tied to Wikinezka anymore. --Maxim 13:20, 23 May 2010 (UTC)

Proposed amendment to talk page policy‎

Hello, I have written the first draft of an amendment to the Talk page policy. If you wouldn't mind giving your opinion that would be greatly appreciated. In essence it recommends that section headings on talk pages should always clearly relate to the topic under discussion. If you could also pass this along to the other members of the editorial board that would be most helpful.

I look forward to your comments and criticisms, and welcome any suggestions for revisions to the proposed policy. Thank you for your time.--Beligaronia (talk) 02:17, 22 May 2010 (UTC)

Rounds again

Sorry to bug you, but whatever became of this discussion?--LaprasBoi

Protection

I think the protection of the article Paul's Electivire could be lifted: the episode revealing the evolution has been released already. --FinnishPokéFan92 07:13, 16 July 2010 (UTC)

It probably could, but just for the record, it wasn't protected because the episode hadn't aired. It was (re)protected because someone kept trying to change the picture to one of Gary's Electivire. Werdnae (talk) 07:28, 16 July 2010 (UTC)
The protection will automatically expire tomorrow. We'll wait it out. --electAbuzzzz 08:13, 16 July 2010 (UTC)

Project {Insert name here}?

Osu. I was planning on starting a new project, and wondered if it made any sense to you. I was going to call it...Project Yin-Yang, or Black and White, or something like that. Basically, it would be a Project to write concise, comprehensive articles on all things Black and White, as soon as they release. For instance, on most of the Pokemon for Black and White, there is nothing for "Special Abilities" Why not? If the Pokemon is a Water Type Pokemon, can't we assume that it shoots water from somewhere? Another thing. Musharna, Munna's first evolution, has, quote, "a feature called Dream Smoke which connects somehow with the Pokémon Global Link website when you transfer your save," which, according to Serebii.net, was revealed in the August issue of CoroCoro magazine. Shouldn't that be under Special Abilities, or Trivia? Because the page is protected, I can't fix it myself, but I thought it would be a good idea to start doing something like this, just to make sure that all the information we can get is properly added to the pages, as the information is released? Thanks, and let me know what you think. Tailzoxy96 20:07, 19 July 2010 (UTC) {I know my username says "Tailzoxy96" It's a mucho typo, and it's supposed to be Tailzfoxy96. I don't know if that's fixable...}

Too specific. Meet Project Games, which is also in charge of B&W. Doesn't require another project. --electAbuzzzz 20:10, 19 July 2010 (UTC)
Tailzoxy96: I think you could get TTE to fix your username, as long as you've never changed it before. --TheAnimeSucks 00:13, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
