Rachel (Japanese: レイ Rei) is Jin's wife and the mother of the Mossdeep City Gym Leaders Tate and Liza.
Her two appearances came in It's Still Rocket Roll to Me and Solid as a Solrock. In the first episode, she was helping out her husband as he was preparing to go off into outer space as an astronaut.
In addition to being the mother of the twin Gym Leaders, she also acts as referee during their battles. During their battle with Ash, Rachel kept trying to stop their arguments which were hindering their performance in the battle. Eventually the twins stopped fighting and continued their battle.
