Edward (Japanese: エドワード Edward) is a character in Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs. He is a doctor who travels throughout the Oblivia region to care for the sick and elderly. He first appears in Cocona Village and appears in Tilt Village and the Aqua Resort afterwards. Later on in the game, you will see Nema being kidnapped by two steelheads. Once you have defeated them, you go to the back of Almia Ruins where you see that Edward is a part of a group called Sociatea, a part of the Pokemon Pinchers. He is wearing golden armour at that time. He then reawakens the Sky Forrtress from being dormant at the back of Almia Ruins. You then go and chase him but He puts a field around the Forrtress. Later in the game, once you've gone and got the Rainbow Grail and Placed it on the Rainbow Dais, the shield protecting the forrtress is destroyed. Once you've gone in, defeated his three friends and entered the centre door, you can see Edward again. This time, he has a mewtwo with him. Edward commands Mewtwo to attack. Once you've caught him, he is in disbelief that you defeated his Mewtwo. All of a sudden, Purple eyes lands on the Sky Forrtress and, as he had been fired, he but on the golden armour that Edwards three friends were wearing. Purple Eyes then took the armour off of Edward and wore that armour aswell. Then he commanded Mewtwo to put Edward into a different worland with Rand.

Murph says at the end of the storyline that Edward is probley at a different reigeon, although it is not known for sure.
