Spoiler prevention
Preventing spoilers is a good intention and all, but it leaves the pages on the Societea members really lame and hardly comprehensive. Plus, I just went to the Guardian Signs site (pokemonranger.com) and found that they don't seem to care about spoiling the plot: the Societea members are clearly categorized as the "villains" of Guardian Signs. So can we get rid of these ridiculous soft redirects and try to make these pages actually have some substance to them? --AndyPKMN 21:14, 6 November 2010 (UTC)
- The problem is, if we didn't do soft redirects we'd instead get complaints about what is frankly a killer spoiler. :/ The Societea members section is pretty uncomprehensive, but that's because nobody edits the Ranger articles lol. Notice that the article is marked as incomplete, somebody really should go and further expand each person's role in the plot and as a Societea member and on their character before they are revealed as such. Mayor Es Cade is a good example of a character that has a good soft redirect and main article, it can be done. --ZestyCactus 21:19, 6 November 2010 (UTC)
- The whole redirect pretty much implies he's a bad guy either way Ataro 21:24, 6 November 2010 (UTC)
- Blake Hall doesn't have a soft redirect. While it's true that he looks more overtly sinister anyway, nevertheless he is only revealed to be behind Team Dim Sun's plans near the end of Shadows of Almia. And unlike Evice, the Societea members are not going by pseudonyms (unless you count Ed "The Thinker"). --AndyPKMN 22:29, 6 November 2010 (UTC)
- You'll have to excuse me for resurrecting a long dead discussion, but I think the individual Societea members' pages should at least have their roles throughout Guardian Signs before they're revealed to be the main antagonists. For example, Es Cade and Mr. Verich have both the soft redirect on their respective pages, along with information concerning their role in the game under those aliases.
