The Team Rocket Elite Trio, individually known as Ken (Japanese: ケン Ken), Ryu (Japanese: リョウ Ryō), and Harry (Japanese: ハリー Harry), are Team Rocket members who appear in the the Pokémon Adventures manga as part of the Red, Green & Blue arc and Yellow arc storylines under Giovanni, and in the Gold, Silver & Crystal arc storyline under the Masked Man.
In the Red, Green & Blue arc and the Yellow arc, they were all sub-leaders. Ken was under the command of Lt. Surge, Al was under the command of Sabrina, and Harry was under the command of Koga. They played no real role in this chapter, as they were merley subordinates whose most important appearance was as minions who tried to capture Mew.
They first appeared facing off against Yellow on the S.S. Anne, trying to sink it as Team Rocket's return to the criminal scene, and as revealed by Surge later in the chapter, a ploy to lure the Elite Four out of hiding. They named themselves the new heads of the Team Rocket squads with Sabrina, Koga, and Lt. Surge now out of commission, but they were proven to be much weaker than the initial admins and were outsmarted by Yellow, who used many different tactics to trap them and save the passengers. They were then tied up by Caterpie's String Shot and presumably taken to jail.
In the Gold, Silver & Crystal arc, the Team Rocket Elite Trio and other Rockets were brainwashed under the control of the Masked Man, where they were used for several different schemes, but were defeated on every occasion. The final time they appeared was when they were involved in the attack on Indigo Plateau during the Gym leader tournament and fought the Gym leaders onboard the Magnet Train. There they met one of their former leaders, Lt. Surge, who after being attacked by them, helped them break free of the Masked Man's control by reminding them of the what they originally stood for. Much later, in the FireRed & LeafGreen arc, it was revealed that the three were put in charge of transporting the two Deoxys to their hideout after they had been stolen from the Mossdeep Space Center. However, as always, they wouldn't go without a colossal blunder when Entity Two escaped the yoke after rampaging madly, and Sird herself mutters that it was foolish to trust them.
