Reminder

Hi Ataro. Just a reminder that you don't have to stoop to other people's levels if they are insulting you. Don't take the bait, don't reply and report them to a staff member. Even if they seem like they're being a moron, it's not always best to call them out on it... because their moronity continues. *insert Code of Conduct warning here* :D —darklordtrom 07:46, 30 October 2010 (UTC)

Yes ma'am! Ataro 07:49, 30 October 2010 (UTC)
If we're being super-formal, then that would be sir ;) —darklordtrom 07:54, 30 October 2010 (UTC)

Hi, Ataro. You said that there's no chance that Dent's Ishizumai has Broken Armor. Did you watch the episode where Dent captured it? It did use it's ability this ability.

Greets Mimey.

help.

HELP!!!! I used an AR code to walk OUT of Amity Square WITH a pokemon (shroomish) traveling with me in Diamond. I accidentally saved. Does ANYONE have an AR code to remove a partner walking with you?!?! I cant fly or surf! And I have a hard time catching anything! I cant use my fishin rod either! And Dont go on about how cheating is wrong. I was trying to research DPBox and Invisible Shiny Bulbasaur. I did, however, come to one conclusion: Its the SAME POKEMON. When it faints, the entire thing is seen. So... can you help?????

Small Question

Hey Ataro. Small question. So, when Raikou fires the electric attack, Falkner says its Spark, but when he fires it again and it collides with Entei's Fire Blast, he says it's Thunder. Can you tell me which one it is? Littlmiget123 21:00, 9 November 2010 (UTC)

oh crap, I made a mistake, the attacks are so similar I mistook one for the other...Ataro 21:06, 9 November 2010 (UTC)
Well, he says at first it's spark, so I posted it as Spark. But then he says it's Thunder, so now I'm confused. Any idea? Littlmiget123 21:10, 9 November 2010 (UTC)
Ok, here's the deal I just read the RAW and it is in fact Spark (they even use the quotes for it) and the second move is Thunder Ataro 21:14, 9 November 2010 (UTC)
So it's two different attacks then...? Okay then, I'll probably move everything from Spark to Thunder (and add your picture as well) since the Spark attack wasn't seen. Sound good? Littlmiget123 21:18, 9 November 2010 (UTC)
nah, I changed the Thunder image to it's correct move...I'll probably use an image from the Emerald saga for thunder instead. Keep the pic Ataro 21:20, 9 November 2010 (UTC)

Warning users

Next time, make sure to leave a message on their talk page after the first offense, rather than hoping they're watching the RC and talking to them through edit summaries. New users usually don't know the ways of the wiki and may think that their edit is just randomly disappearing (or something), so if they're in the wrong you've got to let them know. —darklordtrom 20:49, 21 November 2010 (UTC)

Signing

If you are going to jump at users who have been here less than an hour, please at least do things properly yourself. Putting your signature on a new line screws up the indents and is generally frowned upon. Also, please try to be more polite and kind with new users. They may not have even had a chance to read the policy pages yet, and your comments come off as rude and demanding - not the thing that is likely to make new users think highly of Bulbapedia. In short, take a deep breath, calm down and play nice, especially with new users. Thanks. Werdnae (talk) 20:40, 25 November 2010 (UTC)

Additionally, if the re-signing is within the next few minutes (or even on the same minute... :/), it's not a big deal. It's when they add it much later, and when people can get confused, that it becomes an issue. Yes, there are rules for a reason. But they need to be applied independently to each situation. —darklordtrom 20:23, 2 December 2010 (UTC)

Passive aggressive behavior

You have been told about this before, but please drop the attitude/anger and stop attacking every single user that doesn't get things right the first time. Your most recent edit summary was uncalled for and just really unnecessary. You could have easily placed the image elsewhere. We don't want to scare away potential editors if they see people like you losing their cool over small edits. Keep that in mind. Thanks. Jellotalk 23:01, 2 December 2010 (UTC)

info on image you gave me

I see your point about Daikenki being able to stand on it's hind legs. I stand corrected. Do you think you could give me the information about that photo? (If you don't know what I'm talking about then look at the bottom of my talk page.) You said it is official. It would be nice to know how it is official. Things like where that image came from.--Alex726(talk) 22:42, 4 December 2010 (UTC)

Coco?

So, I was reading PS211, and it shows a flashback with Norman and Ruby's mom talking over his contest battles. In the flashback, it goes to a panel showing a young Ruby in his room, sleeping with a Skitty (Coco), and just a Skitty. Does that mean that Coco would be Ruby's starter Pokemon? Littlmiget123 20:19, 9 December 2010 (UTC)

Nah..In a later chapter an even younger Ruby is seen sending out Nana, Coco, and Ruru at one point. In fact I remember something about all three being given to him by his father, technically all of them are his starters Ataro 20:35, 9 December 2010 (UTC)
Oh, okay then. ^^ I just wasn't sure, and I just don't like the fact that he has three starters XD. Thanks for answering my question. Littlmiget123 20:40, 9 December 2010 (UTC)

Exbo's Page

Firstly, pardon my rudeness, but since when was it ever a rule that jpg images couldn't be uploaded into the database? It's a perfectly fine (not to mention permitted) image format, so there's no reason to undo, much less delete the image unless you want to hear people seriously bicker.

Then, check how Exbo fires a large stream of fire from the flame lit on his shoulder when Aibo supports it with Gold's cue, and then look when he performs Blast burn later to destroy the Kyogre monster. Same stance, same effect, and even Guile states that the attack's firepower was like nothing he'd seen. It's a clearly cognate case with his future usages of the technique, including in the HGSS arc. An attack doesn't have to be flat-out shouted for us to know what it is (that's like saying that because Red didn't physically order a Solarbeam against Zapmolcuno, it was just a standard attack >_>).

So, yeah. Any real reasoning behind that last undoing? Kaboomustdie 01:53, 1 January 2011 (UTC)

It's not that jpgs can't be uploaded, it's that pngs are the preferred ones, and we already had a png image on the page. And about Exbo's attack, well think about it for a sec, Gold had been training during that time, plus Aibo powered it up with the pole cue. So it was more of a powered up flamethrower, besides, they wouldn't reveal the attack early would they? Ataro 02:01, 1 January 2011 (UTC)

The only time that we saw two attacks look the same (besides Zuzu and Silver's Feraligatr, who just fire their water attacks from their mouths) was Green's "Blasty" firing off its Hydro cannon from the shoulder cannons only in the Emerald chapter due to an oversight. I highly doubt that Kusaka would have Exbo's Blast burn and Flamethrower look exactly the same if he planned to introduce them both in the exact same chapter (remember, Exbo never launched a Flamethrower in the GSC chapter), not to mention that we have Gold and Silver fire off their ultimate attacks in the first damn round in the HGSS arc anyway. Plus, plenty of higher-grade attacks debut before their weaker counterparts. For example, Saur used Solarbeam against the Machoke before he used Razor leaf (ane even Leech seed), Blasty was seen using Hydro pump long before it used Water gun or Bubble, and in volume 8, Totodile used Slash before it used basic attacks like Scratch, Zuzu used Earthquake before it used Mud shot, etc.

Then, back to the point about few attacks looking the same, even Exbo's Flame Wheel and Ember attacks looked distinctly different (despite their powers not differing that much), so why would either Kusaka or Yamamoto make two radically different attacks look the same unless they wanted to add in a crapload of confusion? o_0

So, yeah. Something to think about... Kaboomustdie 02:48, 1 January 2011 (UTC)

Alright, I've yet to see you provide any convincing arguments from you (let alone one that validates Kusaka being on high enough to have two attacks looking exactly the same debut within 4 rounds of each other), and I see no reason you should have any reason to argue when I go so kind as to upload the image in your "right" format, so I'll take it as a cue to resume editing in peace (considering you haven't added stuff here in days). Feel free to prove me wrong if you can here, but if you undo other people's contributions on the basis of your sole, undersupported opinion we might have some problems. Kaboomustdie 12:17, 2 January 2011 (UTC)

Not the point?!

What do you mean not the point? that section was about Raticate dying, and I posted things that were clearly pertinent to that section in an effort to prove why it was SPECULATION. Clearly you're wrong. What's worse is if I undo your little undo, I'll get banned for starting an edit war while that speculation stays there and you look like you were doing nothing wrong. Having the idea of raticate dying is like having the Cubone-Kangaskhan theory on the related pages. I'm beginning to think I'm being unjustly targeted on this wiki for all of my edits. In A Manica 21:37, 6 January 2011 (UTC)

For one thing the discussion was more than 6 months old and your not allowed to add to a discussion more than 6 months old. Secondly your launguage was very inapropiate. Cussing is not tolerated here. I'm not surprised he deleted it. --Pokemaster97 21:48, 6 January 2011 (UTC)
Really? I was told there was no reason to add to a discussion over 6 months old unless there was GOOD REASON to revitalize it, which there was. Now you wanna say that rule isn't the case? Hypocrites...In A Manica 21:50, 6 January 2011 (UTC)
Please just calm down. Can you please explain the good reason for it to be revitalized? Instead of quote "Not giving a rats ***" --Pokemaster97 22:00, 6 January 2011 (UTC)
Did you even read what I had posted or just stop because you saw rat's *** at the bottom? trainer-died-creepypasta.jpg there. Because that's where that idea started (on 4chan I believe), and I don't know how to do any monkey tricks with the link. The trivia in the pokemon tower article is speculation, yet people want it to stay apparently. In A Manica 22:07, 6 January 2011 (UTC)
There the trivia is removed let's drop the subject now. --Pokemaster97 22:11, 6 January 2011 (UTC)
Yes that was what I was going to say. I was right, yet accused of being in the wrong. Done and done. fine. In A Manica 22:13, 6 January 2011 (UTC)
This is probaly stupid to admit but the story about that Raticate made me shed a tear, Anyway Mr. Manica, be careful with your language; it's dangerous breaking rules, on an Admin's page no less Diamond Lanturn CodeName: 05308 22:21, 6 January 2011 (UTC)

Well, I just feel like I'm being targeted on here, so I kinda got fed up with it. In A Manica 22:41, 6 January 2011 (UTC)

Maybe you should consider why you're being 'targeted'. Some of your discussions are just not relevant. Don't take it personally. Jellotalk 22:45, 6 January 2011 (UTC)
Yet some are and most likely will be, and are still being treated like they aren't. This was one such case. So yea, I'm going to be taking it personally. In A Manica 22:48, 6 January 2011 (UTC)
Mr.Manica, can I call you 'In a', if there are users in particular you feel are targeting you, you should report them to an admin, however I must say, you should try to make friends on here the same way you do in real life Diamond Lanturn CodeName: 05308 23:06, 6 January 2011 (UTC)
You can call me 'In a' if you want, or Joe since that's my real name, or Monkey because primates are some of my favorite animals and I act like one and climb trees like one. Whatever you fancy. But yea I know that I need to make friends on wikis like I do in real life. It's hard, but can be done. In A Manica 23:53, 6 January 2011 (UTC)

Rayquaza's attack

Hey Ataro, me again. On chapter 264, I have a question. In the flashback, Rayquaza's forehead starts to glow and it fires multiple orbs of energy from it at Norman and Professor Birch. I have no idea what attack this is, but I want to say Ancientpower? What are your thoughts? Littlmiget123 20:04, 8 February 2011 (UTC)

I was thinking, maybe Outrage? Ataro 20:06, 8 February 2011 (UTC)
Hm, alright then. I'll list it as Outrage. Thank you. Littlmiget123 20:10, 8 February 2011 (UTC)

Agility

Why'd you get rid of Ninjask's entry in the Agility manga section? Littlmiget123 18:04, 15 February 2011 (UTC)

I checked the raws. It's actually Speed Boost. Just another case of Chaung fail...speaking of which, you know how Walo used "water gun"? It's actually supposed to be Water Spout Ataro 18:07, 15 February 2011 (UTC)
Oh, okay then. I'll add it as Speed Boost once I get out of school. Also, I didn't add Walo for anything other than surf. I just presumed that when it was blowing water from its blowhole that it was just doing it because that's what whales do? XD Littlmiget123 18:16, 15 February 2011 (UTC)
Also, before I do that, can I ask you something? (I hope you don't mind me bombarding you with all these questions! I feel so bad doing it...) In PS286, the Deoxys clones fire this beam-like attack from their eyes at Green, but she uses her Ditto to block. Is this an attack? It kinda reminds me of Psybeam, but Deoxys can't learn Psybeam. Littlmiget123 20:15, 15 February 2011 (UTC)
Well, not sure actually...they're mindless clones..not the real one...I guess it's just a power they can use and not a move Ataro 20:24, 15 February 2011 (UTC)

Great images!

I love how you have uploaded images of different Pokémon using different moves. Now as you've finished, I'd like to make following requests:

  • Both pics in Thunderbolt's template are grainy. Could you upload better ones?
    • It would be nice if you uploaded a picture of Lt. Surge's Raichu using the move, so I could add a pic to the move article's move template.
  • Could you upload a pic of Red's Poli using Focus Punch?

Thank you already in beforehand. ^^ --FinnishPokéFan92 13:48, 17 February 2011 (UTC)

Oh, wait, I forgot that the pic of Sabrina's Kadabra using Psybeam in the manga also has low quality. Could you fix it too? --FinnishPokéFan92 14:09, 17 February 2011 (UTC)

Also DragonBreath pic has low quality. Sorry if I'm making you buzy, but I hope you can do it. --FinnishPokéFan92 11:57, 18 February 2011 (UTC)

Um, hello, do you hear me? --FinnishPokéFan92 18:23, 19 February 2011 (UTC)

Yeah. Sorry, I'm kinda doing Pokemon 7 (then Electric Tale of Pikachu) right now. But once I'm done (hopefully by today) I'll get right on those Ataro 18:27, 19 February 2011 (UTC)
Thanks. I'll be waiting. :-) --FinnishPokéFan92 07:51, 20 February 2011 (UTC)

Trainer's Pokémon templates

Yes, I am aware that Blue and Green's names were exchanged between the Japanese and English releases of the manga however, the Trainer's Pokémon templates never have a "dark colour" border. For example, {{Brock's Pokémon}} doesn't use {{Rock color dark}} and {{Ash's Pokémon}} doesn't use {{Ash color dark}}, therefore, {{Green's Pokémon}} shouldn't use {{Green (Adventures) color dark}} and {{Blue's Pokémon}} shouldn't use {{Blue (Adventures) color dark}}.--MisterE13 18:19, 19 February 2011 (UTC)

English Names

So what if on March 6th I go on and edit the names. March 6th is the release date (but of course you know that) then will it be OK? Also, I have no edits to make here since its really good already and I want to edit my Userpage, what do you suggest I do? NitroBlaster96 04:47, 22 February 2011 (UTC)

Trivia

you misunderstood me. Ash does have an Oshawott, but he failed to catch it o bw002, cause it was Juniper's, but she gave Ash Oshawott, so he didn't catch it. Lucariade 14:07, 23 February 2011 (UTC)

Geechisu

Why can't we change it? We've taken the "logical" romanization for other characters such as Arti and Yacon. This time we actually know the name origin. There is a possibility that it might not be GCis, but it's the best thing we have for now, and it makes a lot more sense than Geechisu.--jda95 00:35, 26 February 2011 (UTC)

Manga issue

I think for the Viz second edition that Red's Snorlax was given the name Lax since it said Lax when I checked the description of Red's team at the back of Volume 3 yesterday to help with that trivia piece for Diamond's page. -Tyler53841 23:54, 27 February 2011 (UTC)

Not sure about that but in volume 9 (where his Pokemon are first nicknamed) he is called Snor..that's the official one Ataro 23:57, 27 February 2011 (UTC)
But anyway it could be a change in nicknames that was done in between them. -Tyler53841 23:58, 27 February 2011 (UTC)
Probably a mistake. In the English version Red's Pokemon (except for Pika) weren't even referred to by any nickname until volume 9 Ataro 00:01, 28 February 2011 (UTC)
Just confirmed it is in volume 2 as well in the same spot as volume 3, so it could be more of a change than a mistake. -Tyler53841 00:04, 28 February 2011 (UTC)
Do you have a picture or something? Ataro 00:07, 28 February 2011 (UTC)
No, but I can describe that at the end when they show the levels for Red's team in Volume 2 as I am holding it says this line in the description next to the picture Nickname: "Lax". In Volume 3 they don't have that but they still spell it out as Lax in the description. -Tyler53841 00:11, 28 February 2011 (UTC)

Last note on this subject. Volume 1 may have descriptions of Red's original three Pokémon, there are no nicknames listed. Only Viz's second editions of Volumes 2 and 3 do, so in regards to Snorlax's nickname it is either a mistake either way, or Viz decided to change it. That's all I am going to say to this though I think it will make a good trivia piece somewhere. -Tyler53841 05:05, 28 February 2011 (UTC)

Manga images

Could you upload a picture for the new and empty manga move template: Superpower. Also, while you're up to uploading that image of Regirock using the move, could you also upload pictures of Brandon's Registeel using Toxic and Brandon's Regice using Blizzard in the manga, so we can fill the templates in Brandon's Regis' manga move templates?
In addition, the image of Red's Poli using Water Gun is grainy. I guess we could replace it with a pic of Poli using the move as a Poliwrath, that way we would have Poli's move template completely filled with pictures of Poli using every move it has ever used. Trivial removal

Why did you remove the trivia I just added to Wes and Micheal's pages ? Is it because it was wrong ? I was just about to edit them because I realised it wasn't true, and I saw that they (the pieces of trivia, that is) had been removed altogether. I don't wan't to be accused of starting an edit war, so, could you, um... approve ? Here's what I was going to change the trivia to:

Wes, along with Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness protagonist Michael, is the only main series player character not to have an opposite gender counterpart since Pokémon Crystal. Micheal, along with Pokémon Colosseum protagonist Wes, is the only main series player character not to have an opposite gender counterpart since Pokémon Crystal.

Please stop reverting an entire edit

Hi. Why did you revert my edit?

Please don't do that again. I worked hard on that edit. There were many things that I did with one single edit. If you are still not happy with the edit that was done then discuss it with me. Remember the code of conduct says "Don't degrade their work—remember, they worked hard on it. ". If its about the trivia part then discuss it with me but don't revert the entire thing. Blueknightex 07:21, 7 May 2011 (UTC)

He's not violating the code of conduct, nor did he insult your work. However, you are engaging in an edit war which is breaking another set of rules. Discuss that, but don't bring in petty arguments about someone not playing nice when that was clearly not the case. I am not starting arguments. Please stop assuming that. I am only new here. I am only following what PSY has suggested to me. If I have questions on why another user has reverted my edit then I should discuss it with them.
"nor did he insult your work. "
I never said that he insulted my work.
""Discuss that, but don't bring in petty arguments about someone not playing nice when that was clearly not the case. "
I don't think that there is any "petty arguments" going on here either when I am clearly just trying to discuss why my edit has been reverted. I was only telling him why he should discuss the edit with me first before doing it. I am yet to discuss with him why some of my edits should be on the articles as PSY has told me I should do. So please stop trying to take what I have been saying out of hand trying to make me look like I want fight with users. I am not that kind of user. Please look at my reply to you on your talk page as well. Thanks :( Blueknightex 07:31, 8 May 2011 (UTC)

Pictures in Clothing Page

I notice that you were the one to revert my edits to the clothing page, especially with regards to the new screenshots I placed in. I'm not trying to get into an editing war with you, but I want to know why you felt the old pictures were better than mine.

The section is about Ash's clothing, and I felt it's better if pictures that featured Ash in that suit "front and centre" is more appropriate. The one with Ash's red suit had him in the corner tilted diagonally, and the one with Ash's purple suit was a faraway shot that made him very small. I felt the ones I used are more suitable for that page's purposes.

If you don't mind, I would like to hear your thoughts on this prior to doing more edits. Thank you.

Cc716 02:05, 30 May 2011 (UTC)

I still haven't heard back from you yet, and I would really appreciate your input before I make any more edits. I don't feel it's fair that my edits were reverted, but the one who reverted them refuses to communicate with me as to what's wrong with my edits.

I'll continue to wait for a bit longer, but I seriously hope you can respond. I don't wish to get into an editing war, but I would like fair judgment on this issue. Thank you.

That Jenny image

Unfortunately I could find no way to upload over the old image. I don't know if its because I'm a new user or if only admins can or what, else I would of done. I attempted it, but it just wouldn't let me, so I went for the next best thing. Is there a reason I was not able to do so? I found higher quality versions of other old Sugimori artwork and would like to update them in the Archive if possible. Thanks for fixing it anyway. Fizz 11:40, 31 May 2011 (UTC)

Derp

Sorry for the rollback, my finger slipped. Jellotalk 23:21, 3 June 2011 (UTC)

Phew...thought I was doing something wrong. It's all right, we all make mistakes...Ataro 23:23, 3 June 2011 (UTC)

Regarding Pokémon Champion

I'm curious, why was the image for the Pokémon Champion article undone? Alderryeguy 20:39, 9 June 2011 (UTC)

ReBURST volume 2

Did you have any plans for the ReBurst volume 2 page? Since you seem like the main user working on this I was asking you before I created the page in my namespace. --Pokemaster97 00:31, 20 June 2011 (UTC)

Only the first volume has been announced so far. It's being released next month and until volume 2 is announced, we can't make it...Ataro 00:35, 20 June 2011 (UTC)
Oh that's okay then I just wanted to start the article in my namespace so it would be quicker, but I guess I could wait for the date to get closer before doing anything. As for the links I think either linking it to the réBURST page or leaving it red for now will do. --Pokemaster97 00:40, 20 June 2011 (UTC)

Upload request

Hello, you seem to be good at finding and uploading high-quality images so I'm asking if you could upload a new version of Cilan anime.png. The current images has a logo and a little weird shading on it.--Den Zen 17:42, 28 June 2011 (UTC)

Sugestion

You do not think the characters Manga Adventures deserve a template grouping all of them? Like the one that has pursued anime characters?

I mean, I thought about doing something, but I still have little knowledge in shaping them. But I think it's useful, because the way that it is currently difficult to find unique characters of the manga, some I've seen only by sheer luck. --Hikaru Wazana 01:46 11 July 2011

Of course, however, you'll have to take it up with the Project Manga Leader. I'm not too good with templates... Ataro 01:29, 11 July 2011 (UTC)

Got it.

The question just got asked in the forums.

Standards

Hello. You replaced this: http://goo.gl/usDSg with this: http://goo.gl/HK1lK

Higher contrast makes the picture clearer to be seen in a computer screen, but loses the artist's shading. You also kept japanese characters in the small ballons, which, as I heard, should be cleaned. What exactly are the standards for manga scans in Bulbapedia? I mean, what do I need to do with the scans I have before I upload them. 30% constrast is enough? And can I go against these standards if i disagree? I know you're not the leader of Project Manga, but I would like to know from you before I make other mistakes and get my scans replaced again. Thank you, Ataro. Duke R 22:23, 18 July 2011 (UTC)

I'm new here and don't mean to cause any trouble, but I need to show my point of view. I uploaded those pics for a gallery of Arbok's patterns in Form differences. Pictures in galleries are sized to 120px, so my previous "invulnerability" pic was okay in its size. Unless it is used in another article, please let it be with no smoke over it, it took me a while to choose the frame with the best view of the pattern. As for the other one, I understand that you think the dark grey in Arbok's tongue is better than a normal grey, but I need it at least to be trimmed. As I said, its 120px, and that white space around it ruins the gallery. Please, let's discuss this, I just want to improve Bulbapedia. |) u |( e 01:06, 1 August 2011 (UTC)
Ok, ok. I know it has smoke covering it, but it's only a small part that's being covered and the pattern can still be easily seen. I only changed it because the image you posted was a little bit too small, it might show up blurry when put in a gallery...Ataro 15:53, 1 August 2011 (UTC)
Okay, you're right. I asked a friend in college who is expert in Photoshop to teach how to remove the jpg artifacts, but he didn't find the function you use. What do I have to do before I upload scans? |) u |( e 02:15, 2 August 2011 (UTC)

Edit summaries

Users with seniority should be role models, which should not include saying "AHAHAHAHAHAHA. NO." in summaries. A simple "this is not a place for that" is enough to suffice. Please don't lower yourself to such immaturity. Thanks. --P S Yライダー 22:50, 21 July 2011 (UTC)

Parasect Trivia

I was reverted for no reason by a noob. Parasect is not the only Pokémon who has the Effect Spore ability without having come from the Dream World. Shroomish, Breloom, Foongus, and Amoongus disprove this. Talk to him/her and put it back the way I had it, please. - unsigned comment from Muk-a-matic (talkcontribs)

Er, I just checked it and you're mistaken. The user stated that they all had the ability without coming from the Dream World, not only Parasect. Ataro 03:02, 24 July 2011 (UTC)

Charizard's gender.

Okay, look. In the Japanese version of "Island of the Giant Pokémon", Charizard, when it was a Charmander, used the term "boku" in reference to himself. "Boku" is a Japanese personal pronoun that is usually reserved for males, specifically younger males. If that wasn't enough, it also was heavily implied to have mated with a Charizard who is pretty obviously a female (I mean, not only does have eyelashes AND a headbow, but in both versions it was given a distinctly feminine name (Charla in the English dub, and Liza in the Japanese version). I mean, if we're going to label Ash's Butterfree as a Male specifically because Ash's Butterfree mated with a female Butterfree, then I don't see why Charizard can't. Weedle Mchairybug 21:47, 24 July 2011 (UTC)

Look, as Ataro said, it's very clear on the talk page that you shouldn't put the gender. Actually do your research instead of "flaming" Ataro. He knows what he's doing. ~ Blitzamirin ~ 22:02, 24 July 2011 (UTC)

Heh.

Didn't Sugimory state in an interview that the only installments of the Unova region would be Black and White? Speculation isn't allowed... Anyways, feel free to correct me, as I don't have the interview at hand ~ Blitzamirin ~ 17:44, 29 July 2011 (UTC)

Sugimori didn't say that, and Masuda disputed it the next day. --The Great Butler 01:58, 2 August 2011 (UTC)

New RéBURST characters

Before you start making articles of new characters, I have better romanizations for some of them:

  • Afro guy: Afron
  • Hooded guy with Bisharp: Fraud
  • Bandanna guy with Golurk: Battsu (you mixed ツ and シ)
  • Bandanna guy with Braviary: Eurou
  • Old Beartic guy: Loren

All other names you used in forums are fine.--Den Zen 12:50, 2 August 2011 (UTC)

Thanks! I'm not the best at this, you know... Also, I wasn't really planning on making articles unless the characters are important to the plot Ataro 17:18, 2 August 2011 (UTC)

Outrage

Hey there, Ataro! I was wondering if you'd be willing to share where Axew's Outrage attack is confirmed? I believe it entirely, I was just curious where you found out for sure. Thanks! Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 06:59, 7 August 2011 (UTC)

This image, from today's Pokemon Smash. %E3%82%A4%E3%83%A1%E3%83%BC%E3%82%B8525.jpg Ataro 07:31, 7 August 2011 (UTC)
Ah, excellent. Yes indeed, that is what I saw, as well as the preview for BW042-44. I just thought maybe somewhere (like a comic scan or a summary) it said he learned it. :P Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 08:14, 7 August 2011 (UTC)

I was wondering .........

Thanx for editing the page though i wanted to have credit for that page. Anyways i was wondering why did you delete the info about Musha's battle with N. And why do both Black and White's article dont contain info of any event after the Galvantula incident --Gr8Chikorita BoY 14:47, 8 August 2011 (UTC)

Because the articles aren't supposed to filled with meaningless information. The point of these is to show major battles, like Gym Battles. It's going to be clustered if we list every time he battles or eats Black's dreams. Because I'm waiting for the next volume to come out so that I can fully add the info for Black vs N. Ataro 21:00, 8 August 2011 (UTC)
I dont think the battles with N is not important, anyways as you said we can wait but what about missing info on Black and White --Gr8Chikorita BoY 14:44, 9 August 2011 (UTC)

BW030

Hi, I saw you deleted my edit on BW030 even though Shadow Ball really couldn't affect Tranquill, can you please give an explanation? Thanks. --☆YoshisWorld☆ 17:18, 28 August {UTC}

The Shadow Ball was only seen exploding. Whether or not Tranquill was hurt was never seen. Ataro 17:39, 28 August 2011 (UTC)

BW031

Hey, I saw that you reverted my edit for this page. However, I see it as a valid edit. In EP161, it says that Ash tries and fails to capture a Weedle. How is this not valid when Trip tries and fails to capture a Palpitoad? :--SuperAipom7 (Wanna chat?) 23:41, 29 August 2011 (UTC)

I dunno. But as I stated in the summary: See BW007. Jessie attempting to capture Snivy and failing was not a major point of the episode, therefore, it shouldn't be here as well. Ataro 23:45, 29 August 2011 (UTC)
Does that mean that the Weedle event should be deleted as well? :--SuperAipom7 (Wanna chat?) 23:53, 29 August 2011 (UTC)

Debuts

You mentioned debuts, and I wasn't sure while making the pages but the triplets and their monkeys appeared in Chapter 3, but not directly. So does that count as debut, or do people and Pokémon need to directly need to be encountered for it to be considered a debut? Thanks for the help! Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 01:19, 7 September 2011 (UTC)

Oh right, I forgot about that. Yeah, an appearance like the image over Black's head is good enough for a debut. Ataro 01:26, 7 September 2011 (UTC)

What Gives

Why did you delete that edit I made. Meowth does join Ash and the gang, so why shouldn't he be placed on the Ash's Friends page? - unsigned comment from Firered16 (talkcontribs)

This is only a temporary thing. It's not permanent and thus doesn't need to be there. They mentioned something about making a temporary section but until then Meowth isn't considered one. Also, please sign your comments with four tildes. ~ <- These things. Ataro 01:39, 15 September 2011 (UTC)

Excuse Me?

I don't mean to come across as being rude or abusive, but would you mind giving me a good decent explanation on why you the deleted the post i made on Iris' Axew's talk page? I know it said do not add Trivia and thats why i bought it up on the talk page because i just assumed only admins can add trivia or something. You could've said "Not Noteworthy" or "Not Notable" etc. but i don't see the reason in going as far as deleting the post.
