Metal Burst (Japanese: メタルバースト Metal Burst) is a damage-dealing Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation IV.
Effect
Metal Burst returns 1.5 times the damage dealt by the foe's last attack. Unlike Counter or Mirror Coat, Metal Burst doesn't require specifically Physical or Special damage sources and Metal Burst does not force the user to go last (in other words, it relies on the user's speed). However, if the user is faster than its opponent, Metal Burst will fail.
