Talk:Opelucid City
Alternate romanization
My copy of Black has the name for this city listed in the credits as "Soryu". In English. And the credits were in English as well. Before the article gets moved, I'd like someone else to confirm that I'm not seeing things; from what I can tell, the credits for Black are in English, and for White in Japanese. So the confirmation needs to be from someone with Black. Frugali 16:49, 6 October 2010 (UTC)
- Hrm... yes. Jello did say yes.--444Zekrom 10:50, 31 October 2010 (UTC)
- Yep. It seems to be true. But I don't think that the page should be moved. We're just using Japanese names temporarily. For example, Shooti should be Shooty and many names should be spelt with macrons. So, no one really cares whether they're spelt correctly or not. We'll have to move the pages anyway in six months. I know that it's a stupid trend and I'm trying to oppose it. But this is the current trend towards Japanese names among admins. --Maxim 11:01, 31 October 2010 (UTC)
Musician Ambience
Where, or would it be appropriate, to mention that as you approach an NPC playing an instrument you can hear him/her play along with the background music? and fades as you walk away? Knuclear200x 21:18, 19 December 2010 (UTC)
Opelucid City?
Serebii just released a bunch of town/city/place names that they just confirmed to be real...
I'm not 100% sure of the policy of switching to the supposed English version, so what happens before I can do a switch (if that is even possible)?

- We need a link to an official source. (i.e. Nintendo. Pokemon.com and pokemonblackandwhite.com are both run by Nintendo). Once that's done an admin will move it, and after that it can then be changed on every page. Werdnae (talk) 05:59, 17 February 2011 (UTC)
Man in house
In the second floor of the house that is above the Pokémon Center, there is a man who is making a machine that connects the future and the present, and needs a Pokémon from the other version that knows the move Charge to complete it.How come there isn't anything about it?--Jachi 13:39, 12 July 2011 (UTC)
- There is. XVuvuzela2010X 13:49, 12 July 2011 (UTC)
- However, I've heard that this also changes the appearance of one version's Opelucid to the other version's. Can someone who is able to please check this? XVuvuzela2010X 13:55, 12 July 2011 (UTC)

Ace Trainer Eileen in Pokémon White
All her team is female, not male. I'm fighting her right now.LurKasumi 05:49, 3 October 2011 (UTC)
- Fixed. I assume they are in Black too because they are in White and female Trainers generally have female Pokémon. --SnorlaxMonster 06:21, 3 October 2011 (UTC)
Potentially Incorrect Name Information
The explanation of Opelucid in the name origin section seems to have gone pretty far out there. A woman in the pokemon center informs you that "you can spend your days in leisure and opulence." Its a very...interesting way to combine the two words, but thats what it is. Its not the most bizarre localization Ive seen - that would be "scarMIgLiON" From Final Fantasy 4. (I included that Milon example to show translation corruption that often goes with localization.) Lucid/Lucid Dream/Leisure...It does make sense, for the most part. More than the one on the article right now I believe, though I'm not up to changing it without community input. PowerPlantRaichu 10:45, 14 October 2011 (UTC)
