Alternate romanization

My copy of Black has the name for this city listed in the credits as "Soryu". In English. And the credits were in English as well. Before the article gets moved, I'd like someone else to confirm that I'm not seeing things; from what I can tell, the credits for Black are in English, and for White in Japanese. So the confirmation needs to be from someone with Black. Frugali 16:49, 6 October 2010 (UTC)

Hrm... yes. Jello did say yes.--444Zekrom 10:50, 31 October 2010 (UTC)
Yep. It seems to be true. But I don't think that the page should be moved. We're just using Japanese names temporarily. For example, Shooti should be Shooty and many names should be spelt with macrons. So, no one really cares whether they're spelt correctly or not. We'll have to move the pages anyway in six months. I know that it's a stupid trend and I'm trying to oppose it. But this is the current trend towards Japanese names among admins. --Maxim 11:01, 31 October 2010 (UTC)
While the page will be eventually moved again, I say we use the official romanization. Besides, eventually when this page is moved to its English name, we still have to list its Japanese name. --SnorlaxMonster 12:15, 22 November 2010 (UTC)

Musician Ambience

Where, or would it be appropriate, to mention that as you approach an NPC playing an instrument you can hear him/her play along with the background music? and fades as you walk away? Knuclear200x 21:18, 19 December 2010 (UTC)

I'd say no, because it happens in other places as well. matthewtelee 11:22, 23 April 2011 (UTC)
Actually, all of the places where this occurs include it in their articles and describe it. --SnorlaxMonster 11:52, 23 April 2011 (UTC)

Opelucid City?

Serebii just released a bunch of town/city/place names that they just confirmed to be real...

I'm not 100% sure of the policy of switching to the supposed English version, so what happens before I can do a switch (if that is even possible)?

The Ever Ominous Marill 05:55, 17 February 2011 (UTC)

We need a link to an official source. (i.e. Nintendo. Pokemon.com and pokemonblackandwhite.com are both run by Nintendo). Once that's done an admin will move it, and after that it can then be changed on every page. Werdnae (talk) 05:59, 17 February 2011 (UTC)

Man in house

In the second floor of the house that is above the Pokémon Center, there is a man who is making a machine that connects the future and the present, and needs a Pokémon from the other version that knows the move Charge to complete it.How come there isn't anything about it?--Jachi 13:39, 12 July 2011 (UTC)

There is. XVuvuzela2010X 13:49, 12 July 2011 (UTC)
However, I've heard that this also changes the appearance of one version's Opelucid to the other version's. Can someone who is able to please check this? XVuvuzela2010X 13:55, 12 July 2011 (UTC)
Just checked, and it doesnt. :( XVuvuzela2010X 15:13, 12 July 2011 (UTC)
There is something very very bizarre about this. This event, if you do it in both games, reveals something that is so bizarre that I dont even want to mention it out of fear of spoilers. But it has to be the most strange thing in any pokemon game ever. I dont even know where to begin trying to make sense of it. Just that it is far more strange than if it had changed the versions of the town. PowerPlantRaichu 11:25, 15 November 2011 (UTC)
Forget about spoilers, information must not be withheld for the purpose of spoilers. --SnorlaxMonster 14:29, 27 December 2011 (UTC)

Ace Trainer Eileen in Pokémon White

All her team is female, not male. I'm fighting her right now.LurKasumi 05:49, 3 October 2011 (UTC)

Fixed. I assume they are in Black too because they are in White and female Trainers generally have female Pokémon. --SnorlaxMonster 06:21, 3 October 2011 (UTC)

Potentially Incorrect Name Information

The explanation of Opelucid in the name origin section seems to have gone pretty far out there. A woman in the pokemon center informs you that "you can spend your days in leisure and opulence." Its a very...interesting way to combine the two words, but thats what it is. Its not the most bizarre localization Ive seen - that would be "scarMIgLiON" From Final Fantasy 4. (I included that Milon example to show translation corruption that often goes with localization.) Lucid/Lucid Dream/Leisure...It does make sense, for the most part. More than the one on the article right now I believe, though I'm not up to changing it without community input. PowerPlantRaichu 10:45, 14 October 2011 (UTC)

All Unova town/city names derive from cloud names (except Mistralton), though. --Maxim 11:06, 14 October 2011 (UTC)
CoughAltocumulusCough. And just because they're named after clouds doesn't mean that they can't have something else in their names. Ataro 11:13, 14 October 2011 (UTC)

Mystery Dots

I was playing my copies of Black and White again today and while inside most of the buildings of this city, I noticed in the bottom right corner there seemed to be a gray/white pixel just there amongst the black empty space on the screen. Any idea why they might be there? Frozen Fennec 03:32, 11 February 2012 (UTC)

I'm not seeing it on my copy of Black. Have you checked that pixel isn't always gray/white? It could just be a dead pixel. Werdnae (talk) 04:21, 11 February 2012 (UTC)
Double checked both Black and White, they only seem to be present in the White version. Yea, they look to be always gray/white. Probably are just dead pixels. Frozen Fennec 04:44, 11 February 2012 (UTC)

Tron city

This could possibly be included in the trivia, but have you noticed how much Opelucid (B version) as well as Black city look a lot like tron city?Khimerami 23:46, 23 May 2012 (UTC)

Template Issue

Is there a way to make it for B2W2 don't show up on Iris's gym leader template? I tried but don't see a way to make it work. --HoennMaster 17:57, 14 July 2012 (UTC)

Now that the games are out in the US and UK, this urgently needs sorting out. I think the template code may need to be updated. Digifiend (talk) 01:01, 14 October 2012 (UTC)

Ace Trainer Lou

I am fighting Ace Trainer Lou on White version and the article says that, from left to right, he uses Simisage, Simisear and Simipour. However, in the actual game, Simipour is the centre Pokémon and Simisear is on the right. The article gives the indication that Simisear is in the middle and Simipour is on the right, which will confuse Pokémon players. I am not sure if this is the same in Black version.- unsigned comment from HMSaph (talkcontribs)

W2 Superscript in Infobox

The purplish colour in the info box does not support the W2 subscript very well. Is there a possibility of a more acceptable shade whereupon the W2 is more easily visible? The location in particular is where Gym #8 or #7 (game dependent) is indicated; B2 is easily seen, W2 is not. CycloneGU (talk) 02:40, 31 December 2012 (UTC)

Anime section

Shouldn't one be added to this since it appeared in the anime? I could add it if someone agrees to it.--Sylveon (talk) 03:39, 28 March 2013 (UTC)

Yes, it should definitely be added. Go ahead and add what you know. --超龍Chao 04:40, 28 March 2013 (UTC)
Done.--Sylveon (talk) 06:54, 28 March 2013 (UTC)

TM82 Dragon Tail (W2)

Received TM82 (Dragon Tail) from the gym leader right after defeating him in White 2.
That item is not listed on the page, I wanted to add it but I don't know whether it's available in Black 2 as well.
If you know how to go about it then please add it to the items table. ~HellRider talk 00:16, 27 October 2013 (UTC)

Gym TMs go on the Gym page, such as Opelucid Gym, not the city page. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 01:17, 27 October 2013 (UTC)
Okay got it, thanks. ~HellRider talk 01:25, 27 October 2013 (UTC)
