By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Card Pokédex

Please don't change how the text of the dex entry is represented. It can distort the template. The only important thing is that the quote is there...not that it looks the same. MaverickNate 03:02, 23 October 2011 (UTC)

TCG and sprites

Please don't put Pokémon sprites on top of card pages like you are currently doing. --SnorlaxMonster 00:03, 28 October 2011 (UTC)

Linking

Hi, when a Pokémon's name appears more than once one a page it only needs to be linked the first time it appears. Pikiwyn talk 22:21, 29 October 2011 (UTC)

The Preview Button

Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Changes button... Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Thanks! --Pikiwyn talk 23:03, 29 October 2011 (UTC)

Userspace limits

Hi. I noticed you have been editing the User: namespace a lot recently. Please don't do it any more, though. Bulbapedia's Userspace policy restricts the amount you can edit your userpage: no more than three edits per day. This policy was instated to prevent strain on our server, and also to promote people helping out in the mainspace. Bulbapedia is an encyclopedia, after all, so help us out by contributing to some articles before coming back to your personal userpage. The more often you edit in the mainspace, the more you will be allowed to edit your userpage. Thanks! --- Kogoro - Talk to me - 17:10, 11 November 2011 (UTC)

Pokémon Locations

Please stop changing the format of the Pokémon locations templates. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 01:15, 4 December 2011 (UTC)

Signing

Please sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~) or by clicking the add signature button (button_sig.png). This means that it also leaves a timestamp so people can tell when you left the message. Also, images aren't allowed in signatures, you'll have to keep it text-only. Werdnae (talk) 01:53, 18 December 2011 (UTC)

Talk Page Comments

Removing talk page comments, including the initial welcome template, is prohibited per Bulbapedia's talk page policy. Please do not remove any comments in the future. If you wish to clean old comments away, you should archive your talk page instead. Thank you! ----Pokemaster97 18:04, 27 December 2011 (UTC)

Pokémon Rumble Blast moves

I had a chat with Werdnae, and we both decided that unless the move is different in Rumble (Blast) than it is in other Generations, it doesn't need to be specifically mentioned on the page. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 03:59, 26 February 2012 (UTC)

Discussion. Don't just re-add them. We don't need to describe the move, that's the job of the image. The important information should be extracted from the game code and put in a template for it which will also need to be discussed and prototyped. Werdnae (talk) 04:55, 26 February 2012 (UTC)
