Wailord (Japanese: ホエルオー Whaloh; German: Wailord; French: Wailord) is a Water-type Pokémon.

At fourteen and one half meters, Wailord is the largest Pokémon known to man. Despite it's immense size, it can still breed with a Pokémon as small as Skitty.

Name origin

Wailord's name is a combination of "whale" and "lord". This Pokémon is based on the blue whale. The blue whale is also the world's biggest mammal.
