Death error

The "Death error" is not an actual error code existent within Generation I. The screenshot simply provides an example of a Game freeze. Along these lines the explanation that the 'game coding is beyond repair' is misleading as many Pokémon glitches crash the game but rarely ever affect the game save. --Chickasaurus 20:29, 15 February 2010 (UTC)

Error messages and error codes

Why don't we make a seperate page for error messages such as "This Pokémon cannot be traded!". The actual error codes could be placed in a seperate page, we could also summarise the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection error codes. --Chickasaurus 10:50, 1 April 2010 (UTC)

Generation IV

Multiple Generations

16 Error?

Does anyone have any idea what this is? I encountered it when I was researching the glitch Pokemon C. - unsigned comment from Eman9405 (talkcontribs)

Maybe it was a mixed error. A combonation of error 1 and error 6. The article text says Sometimes the game will seem to mix error codes in between text; for example "9" with 2 Error. This would display "92 Error." but this is not an official error code.. So maybe it was simmilar to that. --Pokemaster97 03:19, 28 November 2011 (UTC)

BG Event

"Theoretically would appear when the player triggers a hidden event (such as leaving New Bark Town without a Pokémon) which has no script defined"

Not to totally disagree with what this says but I have a question of how it looks like. I have been leaving New Bark Town without a Pokemon on all 3 of my games many times, so how could it have no script defined if the girl who later adores your Pokemon say, "Gold, Silver, Kris, what are you doing? It's dangerous to go without a Pokemon of your own. Wild Pokemon jump out everywhere on the way to Cherrygrove City." Is that what that means?

Also I have a secondary question on the 1 error. Since it takes so long to set up this error by obtaining 152 Pokemon in at least Red, Blue, or Yellow, how do the characters respond to that in the game?

"The game is unable to complete an event. For example, this error message can appear when the player is talking to someone and the game does not have anything valid to say. 48 error is not fullscreen

"11 Error" maybe?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Prf18l8PFPo#t=7m45s At the timestamp (7:45) in this video, I ran into an 11 Error by talking to this tile. I didn't know what this was at first, but after reading over the error codes page a couple of times I realized it could have been a combination error, although I find it kind of funny that 1 would combine itself with another 1.

Does anyone think there's anything special or unique about this? It's making me curious. RenaTurnip (talk) 22:46, 31 July 2012 (UTC)

Mixed errors

I'm skeptical that both a 1 error and a 9 error occurring at once would cause a "91 error". I think what is more likely that other random text ends up appearing before the error name, resulting in a 1 error actually being called a "91 error". Can anyone with more knowledge on the subject confirm or add to this? --SnorlaxMonster 11:52, 22 August 2012 (UTC)

Do these really exist?

I've been looking through the disassembly again, and I've yet to find a single chunk of code that inserts this chunk of text into a stream intentionally. The string "ERROR." is mapped to the character code 0 in the text box display routines, and it's more likely that the appearance of this message is totally random in glitch situations and only appears because it's a predefined string mapped to a relatively common value. If anything, it may have been used in development, but it doesn't appear to be used anymore. --FSX (talk) 18:58, 14 October 2012 (UTC)
