Kigyan (Japanese: キギャン) is a villain in the Pokémon RéBURST manga. He is a member of the Great Gavel Organization and is one of their Seven Warriors.

History

Kigyan first appears in The Three Assassins with his teammates, Toga and Lukov. The three of them, bored from a lack of action, realize that they are the strongest members of Great Gavel left due to the fact that Fraud is unconscious and the other Seven Warriors have been defeated or defected. They decide to take over Great Gavel and proceed to break down the building they were in.

Upon exiting the building, they see three people they don't recognize; a boy with a water pistol named Amu, a woman named Rovy, and a man reading a book named Ganku. Kigyan goes up to Amu and orders the young boy to show him some respect, only for Amu to spray him the face with his water pistol. Angry at being disrespected, Kigyan, Toga, and Lukov each turn into their Burst forms, Druddigon, Eelektross, and Mandibuzz, respectively and demand respect from the three.

Suddenly, Gerubu arrives on the scene, declares the remaining Seven Warriors as traitors, and commands Amu, Rovy, and Ganku, the Three Generals, to get rid of them. Kigyan arrogantly refuses to believe those three can defeat them until he sees that they possess Bursts of the legendary Pokémon Cobalion, Terrakion, and Virizion.

The three quickly attack, and Amu attempts to do the same only to be stopped by Rovy. Rovy asks Ganku to finish the three off; he proceeds to do so by grabbing Toga and Lukov and throwing them onto Kigyan, leaving a huge crater upon impact.

Druddigon
Kigyan's Druddigon

Druddigon is Kigyan's only known Pokémon. Kigyan uses Druddigon to Burst, allowing him to use the powers that Druddigon possesses. Later, it appears in the wreckage of the Great Gavel headquarters while Ryouga battles Fraud for the last time. Along with several other Pokémon, it lends its strength to Ryouga to give him a boost in power.

Burst

As a user of Burst, Kigyan can use many of the abilities of the Pokémon he combines with, his Druddigon.
