Same Old Song and Dance (Japanese: ふたごのププリンＶＳプリン！うたうポケモンコンサート！Pupurin Twins vs Purin! Singing Pokémon Concert!) is the 243rd episode of the Pokémon anime. It was first broadcast in Japan on April 11, 2002 and in the United States on April 19, 2003.

In the midst of their travels, Ash and friends meet up with a young girl who, along with her two Igglybuff assistants, stars in her own musical variety television program. Our heroes are content to sit back and enjoy the show, but unfortunately Team Rocket has other plans in mind. Unable to steal the show, Jessie and James content themselves by stealing the young girl's Pokémon instead. As Ash and friends run to her assistance, Jigglypuff shows up, disgruntled at having been left out of the show.
Plot

In the midst of their travels, Ash gets hungry, so they go to get lunch. But, Togepi runs off and meets a young girl named Brittany practicing with her twin Igglybuff. She stars in her own musical variety television program along with her two Igglybuff. Jigglypuff shows up and begins to sing, but Ash snatches her microphone and stashes it in his backpack. Jigglypuff is jealous of Brittany's Igglybuff, so she bullies them when Ash and his friends aren't looking.
Team Rocket spies on them like usual and Jessie daydreams of having her own show with the Igglybuff. Ash and friends are enjoying the show, but Team Rocket appears, in costume on a platform, singing their motto. Weezing uses SmokeScreen to distract Ash and others while they take Brittany's Igglybuff and accidentally Jigglypuff. Ash, Misty, and Brittany go to rescue Brittany's Igglybuff while Brock entertains the audience. The audience appear to love Brock at first, but Brock keeps singing the same song over and over again. They eventually get tired of his singing and so does Brock. Ash, Misty, and Brittany finds Team Rocket and battles them. When Ash, Misty, and Brittany come back, Brock is more than happy to have Brittany take over the show.
Finally, Ash and friends get to sit back and relax. Jigglypuff goes backstage to retrieve her microphone by going into Ash's, Brock's, and Misty's backpacks. She appears on the stage and starts to sing. At the end of the episode, Jigglypuff walks away; appearing upset. Everyone in the audience, including Brittany and her Igglypuff, are shown with their faces drawn on by Jigglypuff.
This episode features the dub debut of Takeshi's Paradise.
The dub episode's title is derived from the song with the same name from Aerosmith.
This episode marks the first time that the narrator is affected by Jigglypuff's song.
In the song "Team Rocket Forever" Jessie and James sing "We're tired of our motto so we thought we'd try a song!" but they end up saying their motto anyway.
This is the second to last time Jigglypuff appeared, followed by A Pokeblock Party!.
This episode is featured with the VCD/DVD set of Camp Pikachu.
Errors
During Brittany's first on-stage performance, before Jigglypuff goes to retrieve its microphone, the Igglybuff twins are missing from their pedestals.
Misty instructs Poliwhirl to use Water Gun on Wobbuffet who in turn uses Counter when it should have been Mirror Coat for it to work.
As Misty does so, she pulls out a Poké Ball, as if she were about to send out another Pokémon.
When Jessie tells Wobbuffet to use Counter again, the glove on her left hand disappears.
After James's Weezing uses SmokeScreen and Team Rocket escape, Jigglypuff is seen behind Brittany. However Jigglypuff was taken by Team Rocket by mistake and is in their bag at the same time.
This may have been a confusion from the previous scene when Jigglypuff hid behind Brittany.
