Effect

If the holder is hit by a damaging move, it consumes the Red Card and forces the opponent to switch to a random Pokémon. If held by a wild Pokémon, it causes the battle to end when activated. If the opponent has Suction Cups, Red Card does not activate and is not consumed.

The activation of a Red Card does not force a Pokémon under the effects of Ingrain to switch out.

If the holder has Emergency Exit or Wimp Out, the Ability and the item activate at the same time.
