(Japanese: タクロー Takurō) is a main character in the Pocket Monsters BW: Good Partners manga.

Character

History

Takurō first appeared in BWGP01. As he began his journey to raise Pokémon, he went with Matsuro to Accumula Town. On their way there, they couldn't get past Route 1 since a Scraggy was blocking the way. Takurō decided to follow Scraggy to see what was going on and he saw that an Emolga was injured. Understanding as to what Scraggy was trying to do, Matsuro decided to capture Emolga in a Heal Ball while Takurō caught Scraggy. With the roadblock clear, the two were able to continue their way to Accumula Town.

In BWGP02, Takurō and Matsuro arrived in Accumula Town and saw Professor Juniper. Professor Juniper evaluated Takurō's Pokedex and informed him and Matsuro about a Purrloin causing a lot of trouble in the area. Purrloin came by and stole Takurō's bag. He then chased after Purrloin to get his bag back but the two fell from a cliff. With Purrloin's and Pidove's teamwork, Takurō was able to get back up. Purrloin then joined Takurō's team after it was able to trust humans again.

In BWGP03, Takurō and Matsuro went to the Dreamyard but couldn't stay because of Bado kicking them out. The two went to a Trainers' School in Striaton City. While there, he was taught the basics of Pokémon by Cress. Takurō was given an assignment and since he did not finish it, he stayed behind while Matsuro went back to the Dreamyard. By the time Matsuro returned to the Trainers' School, Takurō had finished.

Afterwards, Takurō went to Wellspring Cave in BWGP04, per Matsuro's encouragement. He ran to Wellspring Cave and then got lost since it was dark. A Woobat appeared and helped him out of the cave. He then rejoined Matsuro with Matsuro telling him ghost stories after he got out.
