ATM this is the first news posted about the expansion, and I'm guessing you saw this at PokéBeach - which is not a valid reference for information for Bulbapedia. However, I see they did provide a link to the Japanese Web site about the expansion, and it seems they have a posted release date there of October 20. Someone who can read Japanese will probably look through that for information to add, so for now let's leave it be. I don't know Japanese myself, so I won't even try as I'd be using a Google translation and some of those are pretty bad. CycloneGU (talk) 05:59, 5 August 2016 (UTC)

Should CP6 and the International release be merged?

I bring this up because we specifically kept Generations separate from the Starter Pack 20th Anniversary release due to their differences, and because this isn't actually a set in Japan. As in it's not a main set at all. It's a sub-set (substitution set) hence why it's under the Concept Pack flag. It's also called Expansion Pack 20th Anniversary (拡張パック 20th Anniversary), vs the pretty butchered name I've seen on PokeBeach which is giving the impression it's a main release set in JP. カッリtalk 22:10, 5 August 2016 (UTC)

The understanding I have is that Evolutions will be the next main set, and is releasing in November as a regular set. Packs are appearing in future product promos (again, things we won't cover yet without official sources, but "Evolutions" appears on them), suggesting they will be a main series. So thus, I see no issue treating it as a main set. CycloneGU (talk) 23:35, 5 August 2016 (UTC)
I was talking more specifically about the Japanese release which isn't a main set at all. カッリtalk 23:37, 5 August 2016 (UTC)
Ah, I see. I'll let someone familiar with that address that, then. CycloneGU (talk) 01:09, 6 August 2016 (UTC)
Legendary Treasures' japanese counterpart (EX Battle Boost) was also considered a Concept Pack. So, I guess this case could be treated in the same way. Metalizard (talk) 21:46, 6 August 2016 (UTC)
Maverick Nate and I discussed how to go about it and the current page revision + wording is revised. Biggest things that were getting me were the JP set number because this doesn't advance their main series set count at all so that's been fixed too. tl;dr all good now! Just wasn't sure at first how to best tackle it. カッリtalk 03:26, 7 August 2016 (UTC)
I'm glad you figured out a way to handle it! CycloneGU (talk) 03:46, 7 August 2016 (UTC)

CP6 logo?

Should the Japanese set not have the CP6 logo? SteveW (talk) 17:58, 8 August 2018 (UTC)
