Jaco
Jaco (Japanese: ユースケ Yūsuke) is a Pokémon Breeder and a character of the day who appeared in The Electrike Company.
Jaco was a student at the Pokémon Training Center for Electric-type Pokémon, where he was trying to train an Electrike. They were the only ones that had not yet graduated because Electrike couldn't control its electricity. He met Ash and his friends when his Electrike shocked him while trying to perfect its Thunderbolt.
Truthfully, he preferred Flying-type Pokémon over Electric-types. He also believed that his Electrike was doomed for failure. However Brock didn't believe that at all and even said that Electrike was stronger than others.
Jaco proved his lack of knowledge after trying to brush Electrike with a metal brush only to get zapped by the built up static energy. With the help of Ash, Dawn, Brock, and even James and Meowth, Jaco and Electrike developed a closer friendship and it was able to use its Thunderbolt perfectly. Later, against what James and Meowth wanted, Jessie attempted to steal Electrike. However, Electrike evolved into Manectric and was able to stop Jessie. Jaco's teacher, Cal, was impressed by what he and Manectric performance and graduated them on the spot.

Jaco trained an Electrike in The Electrike Company, who had trouble controlling its Electric-type attacks. Ash, Dawn, Brock, James, and Meowth helped Jaco train his Electrike to use its Electric-type attacks better.
Later, it was captured by Jessie, though it evolved into a Manectric and took care of Team Rocket.
After its remarkable performance, Manectric officially graduated from the Training Center, and Cal escorted it to work at an electrical generator to help produce electricity.
Manectric's known moves are Charge, Thunder, and Thunderbolt.
