Shed Tail (Japanese: しっぽきり Tail Shedding) is a non-damaging Normal-type move introduced in Generation IX.

Effect

Shed Tail creates a substitute by using half of the user's HP (rounded up), then switches the user out. The Pokémon that switches in will then have the substitute.
