Teruo Taniguchi (Japanese: 谷口輝雄) is a Japanese video game composer and sound designer working under the company SuperSweep. Taniguchi first worked with Game Freak by contributing sound effects and jingles to Pokémon Black 2 and White 2. He's also known for his work on Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, where he composed various Team Star themes. Besides his work on the core series games, he also contributed to Pokémon Quest as a composer. He has also composed for other Game Freak titles such as Giga Wrecker.
Taniguchi also worked on as a sound designer on Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
