Combusken (Japanese: ワカシャモ Wakasyamo) is a Fire/Fighting-type Pokémon.

Biology

Physiology

Combusken is a Pokémon that trains so that when it evolves, it has all the power and strength it needs. It has a feather crest on top of its head with three points. It also seems that it wears a long-sleeved jacket. It has bulging thighs that seem big compared to its body ratio. Their legs are capable of devastating kicks and it has three razor-sharp claws that can cut down trees in a single slash.

Gender differences

A female has a smaller feather crest.

Special abilities

Combusken is known as the young fowl Pokémon. One of their specialties is Double Kick.

Behavior

Wild Combusken roam heated fields and cragged mountains and rolling hills, even deep inside pitch-black caves looking for powerful fighting type Pokémon, even in defeat their highly respected foes.

Habitat

Combusken, as they're always in search of powerful fighting type Pokémon, do not have exact habitats.

Combusken in the anime

Combusken first appeared in Having a Wailord of a Time. The Nurse Joy of Slateport City was keeping a Torchic, Treecko and Mudkip for a girl who was going to start being a Pokémon trainer. The Torchic evolved and had to be hidden. After the Combusken saved a Wailord, Nurse Joy decided to keep it as a guard for her Pokémon Center.

May's Torchic evolved into a Combusken in A Shroomish Skirmish, and long after into a Blaziken in Once More with Reeling!
