Poképédia
Poképédia is the French language member of Encyclopaediae Pokémonis. It joined on September 28, 2007.
Poképédia's mascot is Uxie.
As of mid-December, 2008, Poképédia contained over 1,500 articles and had 341 registered users. (see Poképédia Statistics)
While many of its articles are still stubs, its Pokémon pages have thorough illustrations of generational artwork and sprites (including shiny Pokémon), and characters' Pokémon in the games and anime. Its main page has a slightly different format than its English language counterpart, as Poképédia has a column of subjects with illustrated links to portals on the right. Subjects on the left-hand side include Editorials, Discovered, and Works in progress (Éditorial, Découvertes, et Travail en cours).
Logo
Poképédia logo and mascot is a Uxie, wearing a puzzle piece around its neck. The reason for choosing Uxie as its logo was to symbolize knowledge as it being the Knowledge Pokémon. Though strangely enough, the Uxie has its eyes open, which has been said to wipe out the memory of those whose eyes come in contact with its eyes. The eyes of the Uxie are golden, which is not an official artwork of it, as there has been no official artwork of Uxie with its eyes open. The puzzle piece around the Uxie's neck, may also symbolize either the missing pieces of information that are needed to complete Poképédia, or a reference to Wikiedpia's logo, which is a sphere comprised of puzzle pieces.
