PkStation was a Spanish-language Pokémon news and fan site, based in Spain. It was the parent site to Pokéteca, a Pokémon wiki which was part of Encyclopædiæ Pokémonis, a multilingual group of wikis aiming to be as international as the Pokémon franchise.
History
PkStation was founded by Habieru in 2004. In 2005, PkStation launched the "PkStation Boards" which was later replaced in 2006 by the Comunidad de Foros PkStation. It was in that same year they appeared on Planeta Pokémon on Jetix.
On November 13, 2011, Habieru announced that the site would close on November 20; however, Pokéteca will continue to exist. After its closure on November 20, the site redirected to Pokéteca. The domain soon expired, and is now owned by a domain name company.
